Damn I got pwnd. I haven't played Quake seriously since Quake1. Then I didn't even need a crosshair to know where to shoot. That magic has gone from me 8'[

Fahrenheit, this really is something that feels fresh and new. One the best adventure games ever played.

I heard it will be coming out in sequels... is that true?

It was released 16th September. Don't know anything about sequels but in Europe the game is released as Fahrenheit and in America as Indigo Prophecy.

yeah, i know. i laughed my @ss off when i read 'Indigo Prophecy'. i mean, WTF america? I'm glad I'm in Europe :P

it was originally going to be like TV series.. coming out in sequels. Does the game end properly, or is there any room left for a sequel?

The problem is the sheer choice of options to progress in the game. It has different endings and the game itself can also progress in different ways according to your actions. So basically there is a possibility for a sequel, though I don't think it would be a good idea, would ruin the game I think. I don't know anything about a TV series either, I think this game was in developement for 5 years and now Atari published it, which was a nice deed from them. Oh and that american title "Indigo Prophecy" is a bit revealing compared to Fahrenheit. It might as well been called Celsius

Just love the game, everything is good. The music rocks, it's somewhere between Silent Hill and Max Payne in some ways, in those spooky and dreamy scenes. Everything's just top notch, though the game of course looks graphically worse than the PC version, which I could've bought but I wanted to get the PS2-version. SO that's about it, a very good game for everyone who likes...good games

I just played the Fahrenheit demo, and it seemed like a very good game.
Maybe I should buy it sometime... :)
Not graphically amazing but the game itself was good.

That's why I said to my American friend! XD

I know what the game is about, I read a preview thing a whole year ago. That is when they mentioned it would be coming out in sequels... I guess they decided to change that. I am so getting that game, but the only problem is my comp that can't handle new games :( Bah!
I'm an adventure fan, and a game where you have thousands of choices is SO my cup of tea :D

Metric > US System

Any system based off of 10 pwns a system based off of random numbers.

Cool!! I'm playing it and it's really interesting, also for me that I've played 2 or 3 adventure games in my life (Monkey island1&2).

the F.E.A.R demo, and it was great!!
I'm going to buy the game when it comes out, too bad that I have to run it with minimum or medium settings.
(But I have maybe planned some upgrading to my comp in the near future...)

A breathtaking FPS!!!! I've tried the demo too.... but I think the system requirements are VERY high (obviously if you want the top!) I had to unselect soft shadows because it was too slow (I've an Athlon64 3800+ and a radeon x800 pro!!)

I've just preordered Day of Defeat: Source, I hope that it won't disappoint me. F.E.A.R. demo? Whoa, I'm glad that it worked here on my 5200 (ekhm). It was impressive. Has anyone played brand new Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood demo?

Side scroller type rpg. You pick a character class and level up.. eventually the path widens as you become more powerful. Like every rpg type game.. it is very addicitive.
You can travel though different worlds and play with others.

I'm a Morrowind fan, too. I'd play Thief if my bro wtill had it. Comp can't handle the 2nd one. I also have NeverWinter Nights Gold, hopefully when it's cheap, the Platinum version will be okay on this old dinosaur...I have Undying, which I love, and Alice in Wonderland, (the twisted, Goth version) and of course, I have the Sims.

As for console, am burning through Kingdom Hearts right now on PS2. Good story, love seeing the old Disney characters as well as the ones from FF redrawn to look even better.
