I own the first two Artemix Fowl books - not bad, but not too good either. I found the characters, especially Artemis, a little bit too perfect. Y'know, he's twelve and he's the smarest person in the world. Oh, gimme a break, why don'tcha? If theres one thing I hate, it must be perfect characters.
It was a fun read, though, I guess..

I read the Diary of Anne Frank when I was eleven, and it inspired me to start writing my own diary. Wheee :)

(I'm STILL stuck with Terry Pratchett's Lords and Ladies.. I just don't have the time to read! Oh, and we're supposed to be reading Revisor for school.. yea, right  )

I know what you mean...Most of the time Artemis was just plain annoying. :?

I´m still reading the diary of Anne Frank and it´s weird that a person having totally different background and living in different times could have so much in common with me. When I started to read the book I expected a sort of cultural collision, like some thoughts she has would go over my head. But she´s really easy to relate to and since I go with anyone´s emotions, I expect to end the book with tears.

Terry Pratchett is wonderful! You just keep laughing while you read :D

Not a bad choice anyway. :D

I dunno, I wanna read the Da Vinci Code.. and a lot of people say it's over-rated. I guess you just have to read it and judge it yourself :)

Yep...books are weird. and Terry Pratchett is awesome...apart from Hitchikers guide to the galaxy those are the only books that have ever had me laughing out loud. I feel a bit stupid when I´m laughing alone in my bed at 01:00 in the night

I read it for my AS level. What a book, its so profound.

Now I'm reading Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk and its so engrossing. In fact, why am I not reading it now?

I was reading once again Donna Tartt´s firs book The secret history.

While ago I read her second book and that really make me feel that I gotta read the first once again. The first is masterpiece at least for me, second wasn´t.

Then there was this Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire :D

Just had to read it - once again - since the sixth book is coming. Now I'll start reading the fifth one, so I remember what's happened when I get my hands on the sixth one.

I'm waiting for the fourth movie very much impatiently. I just want to know who's got the roles of Charlie and Bill Weasley and Victor Krum. And I want to see what kind of changes the new director has made.. (I don't even remember his name, I only know it's not Alfonso Cuaron..)

Oh, thanks. Gotta remember that... :D

And yeah, the book is kinda more worth waiting for. The movie is just a bonus. 8)

I've planned to keep myself in order and wait 'till it gets cheaper. I don't know if I can do it, but I would save a lot of money if I bought it a month or two later. And 'cause I'm a poor student, it'd be good not to spend 40€ or something to a book...
