Recently I have got an email from RollingStone, India that POTF will be performing concerts in five cities across India.

The band will play a five-city tour of the country to promote their new album, 'Temple of Thought'

http://rollingstoneindia.com/home-flashbox/poets-of-the-fall-to-tour-india-this-month/

But certainly I can not find any official information on our POTF website. If any of you guys have any information regarding these specific events then please let me know.

In other note, TOT has also been released in India for the first time. I would like to send my regards to the band & management for releasing this awesome album in India for the first time.

Thank you very much.

:)

Hardik Shah

Unfortunately the band or their booking agency can't currently either deny or confirm these gigs. But there will be more info very soon, just hold on tight!

It's truly a blessing. Thanks admin.

Most probably I will be attending POTF concert at Pune. And I hope that flipkart actually starts to ship my long long awaited pre-ordered TOT.

Until then it's a digital download all the way.

:)

As I can not find any ticket booking information on their website, I guess I will be contacting HRC, Pune soon. If you find any relevant info regarding the availability of tickets or you come across any official booking page then please PM me the details.

Welcome to the community. Finally there's someone from LPU here. Total's two now. ;)
Anyways I couldn't get tickets of HRC, Pune. Since Mumbai's HRC is not covered hence there is a tremendous amount of rush in Pune for Poets.

Few hours ago I reached Bangalore. I will be seeing Poets tomorrow.

"Poets of the Fall contest closes in 4 hours! We're giving away tickets for #Bangalore #Delhi #Pune. Tell us why YOU should win 2 tickets!"

It was posted by Indivibe 1 hours ago.
Sorry, can't link to te tweet, cannot access Twitter from work.

PlanneRags on Twitter 26 minutes ago: "Attention! 2 tickets available for the #PoetsOfTheFall gig. Tonight, #HardRockCafe #Bangalore Rs. 1500/- each. Reply if you want them."

- if you are quick, maybe they are still there

There seems to be a contest going on some time today to win passes fro the concert in New Delhi tomorrow.

I just found this on the POTFwall (Twitter):

"If you want to win passes for the Poets of the Fall concert tomorrow, you might want to head over to @NokiaIndia"

and this

"RT @NokiaIndia: Poets of the Fall live. Yeah you read it right. Get to watch @PoetsOfTheFall at @HRCIndia tomorrow. Contest coming soon. RT now! #Delhi"

Unfortunatley I cannot find the contest online, but I cannot access Twitter or FB from here so you might wanna check those. I found one FB link - if I go by the few lines I see in the google results, this could be it: www.facebook.com/events/470266282997425/

Edit: Here's another tweet with a link:

saw them yesterday at Pune
they were epic :')
I almost felt like crying!
I even screamed Max Payne when they were about to play Late Goodbye and Marko was like oh yeah (there was a second's silence when I yelled)
Well he won't remember now probably but still worth it :)

Right now I am musing about differences in perception. I've been watching the tweets during and after every concert the Poets have played in India so far. (yay for the potfwall).

By far the most excited and happy Tweets were about the concert in Pune. Yet I have already found two rather bad reviews, claiming they were struggeling, talking about sound problems, the concert being late etc. One of them said the fans loved it anyway and the other said that they won over the fans halfway through the gig, but still I find it weird how different the critic's and the fans' perceptions seem to be.

While I did read tweets about the guys being late, I didn't hear anyone complain about the sound, the setlist or the performance. So, success or not? I have no idea, these are just random thoughs.

What I would really like to know however, is the setlists they played at the four gigs so far. Anyone? Bueller?

Oh I read that yesterday and thought it was really nice. Sounds like a typical POTFconcert experience to me ;) (in my opinion they are always great). It also sounds as if you and the reviewer from Rolling Stone India have been at two different concerts.
You could post the link to your blog in the POTF Tour reports if you like.

It seems a little different today though - did you chnage it a bit or am I coonfusingthis with something else I read? I seem to recall you wrote about The Lie Eternal being part of the encores?

Either way, seems the trip was worth it for you and I'm happy you loved it there. No 'Lift' in the end? CoR of course makes for a wonderful closer as well.

How about the other three gigs? Setlists? Experiences? Anyone?

Mods, feel free to move thsi to th etour reports if you think it should be there

Thank you, yes I will share it there and again yes I saw the Rolling Stone article, it was crap, he should have gotten his facts right.
Since you saw the first early version, you must have seen I was high ;)
I got pics of the setlist and then thought about it, and remembered they played Dreaming Wide Awake (they played The Lie Eternal before)
there was no real encore, as I said he was going back but immediately came back down since they were way behind time. Was sad Lift wasn't played, and after seeing the setlist pics they dropped a few more songs because of the screw ups. They played for (more than) around an hour, it was pure bliss :)

I updated with more pics and some corrections (my only *dream* now is they see it) :)
