Greetings Poets!

I hope you will read this because I just want to say thank you for coming to Ukraine for the second time - I was really glad to see your second show, now in Kiev!

It was really great - thing I enjoy coming to your shows is that you never now what is going to happen. Well you know that this is going to be a drama act on the stage, but until the lights are gone you can`t say clearly what will happen. :)

Special thank you for the show - it was great to hear both new and old songs, especially Sorry Go `Round which I haven`t heard in this acoustic set before - it was amazing!

Thank you Marko for grabbing my butterfly first - it was epic! 8)

Marko, Olli, Jaska, Jari, Jani, Captain - you made my day yesterday!

For more information check my report - http://yuriyaremiy.livejournal.com/2128.html

Best wishes,
Yuri Yaremiy

P.S. I do hope that this message will be forwarded to the band!) Holy Admin!

Thank you very much in advance!)

Finally it's not a secret anymore so I can say it out loud.

Thank you guys, for being with us, for giving us what's the best, your music and just you, and who you are. I am both incredibly happy and sad at the same moment. Happy, because you got the Banner finally, and sad, because I couldn't be there and give it to you personally, altogether with the whole Banner Committee, as was expected on the beginning.

It was an amazing year of work on it, which I spent with Alphawolf, Lisa and redbossfan, and had a contact with so many other fans from all around the world.
Thanks to you I met those wonderful people and made new friends. You filled our hearts with love and connected us, like one, big family.

Thank you for everything, because with you every tomorrow is a better day :)

With love,
Marta

As I have finally seen you guys again, I feel a need to say this:

Never before did I experience a band that has something so enchanting as you guys do. I know of no other band as to which so many people from different places would travel only to see a live concert. You unite people regardless of nationality, belief and age. That is something wonderfully unique. Thank you so much for that!

Best wishes from Denmark!

Listening to the same band at least once a week since August 2010. If there was ever such a thing called love for music, pretty sure i've long since found it. All from one xbox game back then. <3 POTF

So, where should I start?
My Poets of the fall journey started about two years ago. Some most dear and special person has showed me a very special song. It was All the way 4 you. I didn’t knew the band, never heard of Poets of the fall. The voice was pure, soft and deep like no other one before. I was staring at the computer screen, watching that yt link, listening the most different voice. It was a real magic moment. I went to a lot of feelings in few minutes. I checked the lyrics. It was not just an ordinary song, it was pure love poetry. I couldn’t believe it. I felt hypnotized and I wanted more. I listened Lift and Carnival of rust after that. It was a blast. I fell in love. So deeply. And my love has grown stronger and stronger with each and every song since then. Yes, it’s so strange, but I fell in deep love with a voice. A voice so masculine and so sensual at the same time, a voice of gold. A voice that can be tender as a lullaby or hot as fire from one song to another, from one feeling to another. Passion is there, everywhere because Marko feels the lyrics like being a part of him and I can perceive it. His poetry touched me in a way that no other poem has ever did. I just share what I felt and now (even if it took me so long to be here...) I think this is the best place to be understood. Poets of the fall’s music means so much to me, cause they have reached my heard and my soul in all the ways. They have been with me in my moments of joy, sadness, love and even dispair. They have brought tears, real ones, or joy ones. I’ve found my heart stolen by the most beautiful voice in the world, by the most meaningful words. How come? I don't know...but their songs are the most perfect match for my inner person. Sometimes I have wondered how do they knew what I need, how Marko can wrote what I feel? How can this music to be harmonized with me and how can words guess what’s inside me when no one knows? It’s incredible... I am so addicted with Poets music, with Marko’s poetry, than sometimes I think it's not normal to listen them so much, or not normal that I don't like anything else at the same level. There are so many great poets out there, but Marko is the greatest one in my eyes and he will always be. Just because all my emotions and thoughts are gathered there, in Poets music, like some telepathy or cosmic happening.
Unfortunately, only two words exist in English (or I don’t know others, cause English is not my native language, neither Finnish)…but they are too poor to express my gratitude.
Thank you for bringing beauty and sensitivity into my life in a way that I wouldn’t have known it without you. You’re really locked very tight inside the heart of my temple of thoughts. From the bottom of that part of my heart …Thank you!

Now, after returning from a 6 day trip to follow your tour, I once again feel the need to thank you for everything you've done for me, for the music, the magic and the wonders you bring to my life. As I write these words, I'm still a bit dazed from last night's acoustic gig and almost hungover from too little sleep, but my heart is full of love and gratitude.

This year has been beyond amazing so far. From the first message I received about reviewing "Temple of Thought" to last night's acoustic gig it has only gotten better and better - by now I am pretty much speechless and wondering if it is possible to die of too much happiness.

So thank you
... for 9 wonderful gigs so far this year that painted a huge happy grin on my face
... for the emotional rollercoaster you music provides for me
... for all the times you have made me laugh and for the songs that have made me cry
... for the amazing people you have brought me in contact with, some of which have become close friends
... for the opportunity to see remote corners of Finland that I never knew existed ;)
... for playing "Shallow" and "King of Fools", two songs I've been wanting to hear live since my first concert <3
... for your kindness and your patience
... for chats and hugs and smiles and friendly gestures
... and most of all for the great memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

with love,
Stef

I don't quite know what to say !
I stumbled across POTF quite by accident about 3 months ago (searching for film soundtrack for Serendipity) - Came across All the Way for You and was hooked! Haven't looked back since. Have just bought Temple of Thought and can't stop listening. Poets .... you have brought SO much joy into my life. I have always loved music with a passion, but was becoming increasingly downhearted at the mediocre offerings around these days - you have restored my enjoyment and you completely ignite my soul! Thank you!

Dear Poets of the Fall!

You are the most amazing band a person could ever dream of, well, speaking of myself now but i am sure everyone would like to have a band who wouldn't ignore your feelings, who would be glad to give autographs, chat to you like friends and support and inspire with music so much!

Your songs support me through my hardest.

You personally supported me when I wrote on the Facebook page when the love of my not so long 20 year old life left me broken down to pieces.

You are my inspiration and you know, I find myself in your songs, in your music. You speak to each of us through your songs. You save lifes. You save dreams. You keep us living and fighting. You tell us not to give up.

In St. Petersburg you were very kind, warm and happy to see us, it's so pleasant to see how you all smile, guys! I wish you anything good in this life, keep up the work, stay together longer and let me tell my children: "Look, it's the band I love, they are still making people dream!".

Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for your songs and for your words, thank you all! I love you and you will always be the number 1 band to me, I will always support you as much as I can, because you do so so much personally to me, thank you, my dear Poets, my dear band since 2007. :* ♥

Rakastan sinua! Kiitos kaikesta!

What! Only 11 pages of thank yous for POTF?!!! You guys deserve all the best success in your music. This band is like a beautiful dark flower growing in a secret garden - not known by many of the world overall but an amazing find once you get within its presence.

I find it hard listening to other music now due to Marko's awesome voice and subtle lyrics. Poets Of The Fall is like a magical band my heart formed out of desire to hear the unspoken depths sung into being.

Thank you Poets so much for your uncompromising artistry, your earnest delivery and authentic brilliance.

Dude Marko, who messed your hair on 2007? You are pretty as _always_ but your hair was too long!

Had a Great time on Kaisaniemi the other day. Shouted a lot. Wish to go to Seinäjoki but I can not. God bless your gig there. Wish you well.

Peace and Love.AS.

I had a perfect moment yesterday.

I was driving home in a beautiful sunset, listening to POTF as I often do, and there was a plane about to land, as I live not too far from an airport.
Then it happened: a pigeon flew across the street in front of my car. For a short while, the two flights, the bird's and the plane's, were in synch. And Marko sang Someone special.

So thank you Poets, for without the music, these few seconds just wouldn't have been a perfect moment.

So... I had heard "Can You Hear Me?" A few times, and I though "Yeah, it's a great song." and I didn't really wholeheartedly listen to it.

But yesterday, I just... listened to the lyrics. Really payed attention to what they meant, and I also watched the entire video.
Oh, gosh... I teared up. The meaning of it just hit me.

It gave me hope, happiness, sadness, gosh, I didn't know what to feel.

There has never been a band that produces such beautiful poetry and such a sublime melody with every single song they create.

You guys are truly... unfathomably amazing.

Thank you for giving me hope. Not just in music but... humanity itself.

Thankyou
for the joy your music brings me when I want to party
the support your lyrics give when they hold me and I need to feel like i'm not alone
the art that you create to illuminate the dark
and the sheer excitement at even the merest hint of new material.

Dear POTF,

I would like to say thank you for all of the wonderful songs that you have made, even though I might not ever get to see you guys live.
I'm still very glad to be able to have the opportunity to experience the awesome music that is Poets of the Fall. :D

That term I always use the" you guys rock!"
Right now, I feel is a complete understatement I wish I could find a more justified word for your amazing music.

Thank you, Poets of the Fall! :D

First time poster here. I've been listening to POTF since Sings of Life came out, first hearing Late Goodbye on the radio and then finding out what band played it.

Poets of the Fall, you are amazing. The music and the lyrics are very touching and I never tire of listening to your songs. Again, when Temple of Thought came out, I wasn't disappointed.

Sadly, I've missed all your gigs here in Finland this year due to work but hoping to catch you either in Assembly or in Tampere later.

KIITOS MAHTAVASTA MUSIIKISTA!! :)

No matter what mood I'm in, every one of the songs seems to fit with it in some way. I've been a huge fan for years now, (despite the fact I just now got around to making a forum account), and I tell everyone I can about your music. As one of the semi-rare fans from the US, I'm always looking forward to whenever a new song or album comes out........

Other than that, I can't think of much to say, besides thanks for all the amazing music, and keep it coming.....

I don't really know how should i put in words everything you guys made me experience.. all the feelings i never knew i had which your music awoke in me.. every bit of hope your music gave me when i felt i had none left.

I don't know if you'll be reading this, but nevertheless i need to tell you what i've been keeping inside of me for the past 6 years, how i've loved you and your music, how i appreciate you and cherish you from all my heart. I am in love with music, so much so that i cannot live without it, but i never loved a band as much as i love you! For me, you are music and everything it stands for. You complete my life, making me feel whole. For in some special way i feel connected with everything you sing, every word and every sound of your songs.

I am writing this because yesterday i got to see you guys perform live in Sibiu. And, even though i travelled a few hours from my hometown and i hadn't slept in a couple of days, i must tell you YOU ROCKED MY WORLD!!! I've always known you were the best in what you're doing but i never imagine the extent of your greatness! Now that i experienced it, i can say i was completely mesmerised by it. And not only this, you are very special persons too; the way you care for us, giving us autographs and taking the time to take photos with us made me feel like i was right to love you in the first place:) because you are not just awesome musicians, you are great persons, too and i thank God i discovered you and your music.

Now, something for Marko, whose voice would always soothe me and take away all my fears, i want to say that you seem to be sent from up above to make our lives more beautiful through your talent:) You are meant to enrich and lift our spirits..and you do it like no one else.
And, Marko, even though i know you've heard this a million times, i must tell you i love you! :) in some weird, twisted way, when i took that photo and you stood there, so close to me, i felt connected to you.. IT was awesome really, you were awesome!

Here's the photograph i was talking about

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=405632086161122&set=a.405631639494500.90027.100001430036965&type=1&theater

P.S. Please, guys, consider coming back to Romania sometime! I'd really want to see you again..

Guys, guys... what am I going to do with you?! You clearly know how to leave one speechless. Your performance in Sibiu last Saturday was breathtaking, mind-blowing and I just wish it had never ended.
Call me a fool, but I really don't know how to put in words all the feelings you made me experience. From the very first moment I listened to your music I just knew you were (and are!) one of a kind. And for that I want to thank you!
Your performance had such an effect on me that I couldn't hear, I couldn't see anymore, I wasn't aware of what was going on around me. I now feel a little bit sorry that in backstage I could only say a muttered "Thank you". I must have looked really stupid considering the fact that other fans might have congratulated you for the amazing show.
I also want to thank you for the time you spent with us backstage, although I was a bit dissapointed at first because by the time I got there the security guard said the meet & greet had ended. But then I decided to come back and there you were!
Thanks to you I also met new people.
All in all, thank you for being such unique and amazing artists and also down to earth people. Hopefully you'll come back to Romania someday 'cause we want more!!!

Hey :D I'm new here, on your forum, but not a new fan :D I have been listening to your songs since I was a kid and I still love them so much! I can't get bored with them...Usually I hit repeat when one of them is next on my ipod :D
I'm happy that my friend told me abaut this place, where you can express your happyness and talk to others about your amazing music :D
I was there, at the ARTMANIA Festival, the day before yesterday and OMG...I couldn't believe I actually see you oin the stage...it was so unbelievable...
I remember, we were talking about you and your concerts with one of my friends( who is also a big fan and was there on the concert) that we should get to one of your concerts in the neighbourhood and we were searching for trains or buses in Ukraine or Russia...we were dissapointed when we didn't get any...BUT...THEN...MIRACLE HAPPENED :D We got you in our home-country :D I still don't believe it...
I was there, in the 2nd row and I sang your songs as loud as I could...My feet was hurting and I couldn't talk after the show...but is was sooo great!!! I was one of my favorite concerts I have ever been :D I was my one and only POTF concerts and I REALLY HOPE THAT ITS NOT THE LAST :D I was so beautiful...so fantastic...
When you sang Cradled in Love, tears came to my eyes...I felt in Haven...
OMG....THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU FOR COMING TO SIBIU! I was so happy and I still am...I can't forget it...IT WAS A LIFESAVER :)
After the show I was at the backstage and met you, but I don't know if you remember me...Maybe...I was the girl who said to Marko that "I'm happy" :D
I love you guys....I will always love your music as long as I live :D
(Also love other bands from Finland :D)

Briefly

Thank you so much. I've been loving your music about two years now and it has really made my life better. I've been going through difficult things and had rough time in my life. Luckily POTF music helps me to get all the bad feelings out of my head and I can be happy again. You write amazing lyrics, I can find them describing my life so well.

I can never thank you enough, but I hope this gave a glimpse of how grateful I am.
