I was hoping to hear some black metal version, with growls and stuff

@Lisa, same here, I was curious to hear CoR in totally different version, while this one for me is even softer than original. And... dunno, bit apathetic. But I really like the guitars in this one, especially the very beginning.

Nice, but...
You can sing my reaction to the appropriate tune. :P

Did I expect a bit too much? Am I too picky?
It's far from lame, yet this cover failed to convince me,
Somehow heavier, yet too similar to bring a new life to the song,
If in doubt just choose the Poets, you know... you'll never get wrong

I wish I hadn't listened. It made me sad. Totally didn't do it justice AT ALL.

Please tell me it's a recording from Rock Band or something.......?

I listened once and find it completely falls flat. Elicits no emotional reaction from me whatsoever. I expected some heavy cover, completely different from the original. That might have worked for me (or maybe not), but at least it would have been interesting. This one is just boring. Sorry, nice try, but it's not for me.

It seems to me that they were trying for something that was airy, creepy and emo, but they failed. I feel no emotional connection, not even angst.

I don't like the voice of the singer of this cover at all. Didn't listen until the end. Expected a more heavy darker mad version, but this - please no.

the way I see it is the version is average, but it may at least point more new people in the direction of POTF to hear the awesome original and check them out.
