What are the new POTF projects would interest you the most and why?
You can choose your three best choices.

You can suggest other projects too. For example tour or album with the symphony orchestra or something like that.

POTF has made many studio albums and singles, so they aren’t on the list.

Of course POTF decides for themselves what they are doing in the future. This is just for fun. :) We can see what we, fans, like the most.

Why only three?!

I would want at least half of the list  But seriously, I'm perfectly fine when they "do what they want to do the way they want to do it" :) And knowing how tight and busy their schedule is, I just won't ask for anything more.

I guess the most wanted would be the world tour cause that would give them recognition and resources (but probably even less time) to do everything else on the list.

I would like of course a world tour. I would be sure that they will reach my country, by this way. :)

Then, the most wanted projects would be an acoustic album, a live DVD, a duet album (they can sing together with some nowadays most famous voices, or maybe better with some great Finnish singers, cause they are so many, males of females), a POTF book and an instrumental album, because I love CoR and Lift versions and I imagine how lovely their other songs would sound.

As other projects, yes, I see some songs transposed with an orchestral accompaniment, like beautiful, soft classical music.

I would also like an Apocalyptica - POTF album, I think they would complete each other beautifully and some POTF songs are suitable with cello sounds.

I would also like a remastered Playground album, I mean all Playground songs arranged in POTF style.

And in the end, I don't have to think too much... I think I want all. :D

for some reason, just the idea of a Christmas album made me laugh - but I don't think I feel a need for that XD
(even though I still think something like "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by them would be nice: you know, there's a bit of a psycho/stalker in that Santa Claus that sees you when you're sleeping, knows when you're awake, etc.. :P )

A world tour would be great, and I think they would like to do it themselves, it just does not fully depend on them. But I wish them to be able to do that. I mean: to get the worldwide recognition they deserve

Not sure what you mean with "Instrumental album": if you mean a new album with all instrumental songs (that is: all songs are meant to be without singing), nope.
If you mean an instrumental version of some album (like Nightwish did with Imaginaerum): hell yes, I'd love that :)

yep, 100% second that :)

edit: I forgot: an OGOA album! yeah, that!
Oh, and a POTF book...
I can't vote: unable pick only 3 things :D

They've never failed to surprise me with their music and they have always tried to experience creating new music,so I think they can keep up with their nice work! 8) but a POTF book sounds really amazing, and I just wish the guys would consider releasing it someday :)

Don't forget that they are working on something no one else did before (source: POTF_Admin). So eventually we will have our surprise...

I am pretty sure they will make it happen. Otherwise, it would be left untold...

I think they could first have a world tour and they could film some material from there, rehearsals, interviews, backstage & performances for the extra material dvd and one full concert to another dvd.

They could do three different books, Bioghraphy, Notebook and Stories behind the songs.

Old Gods of Asgard album could be a different experience for the guys. They could try something different than in POTF. They could make a tour as OGOA.

Covers album could be just cover songs they choose or they could try to start a new trend choosing some other popular band and they could do each others songs their own versions and maybe one or two duets in a same album and one co-written song.

Yes, it would be nice if they would do Playground songs especially

Sing your song for me
Different light
Inevitable
For sometime now

(We could have another poll: Which Playground songs POTF could record?)

I know that I am going too further now  ....
But I would like to see POTF performing live with Phoenix Effect someday...with Marko as leading singer. In my mind I imagine that Lucky star, Magic, King see no evil and Broken promises songs would sound great. :)

They can write such a beautiful ballads, so why not own Christmas song?
It would be nice to see & hear what kind of lyrics and melody they could do for Christmas song.

As Marko said during the interview, Poets of the Fall probably will not continue the story of Old Gods of Asgard if Alan Wake will not walk through the night anymore.

Remixing the Playground songs also seem to be unlikely. It’s another band which is, again, in another era. For me it feels like our favorite guys want to go forward and to make a new stuff than to return to something which is in deep past.

Considering what happens at the gigs, the acoustic album is the most presumable project.

World domination it is. 8)

Other than that: You gotta take 'em as they come - agree with sreinde that Ill be happy with whatever they choose to do. :)

Now if time and money was not an issue, I'd love a live DVD and/or an acoustic album.

Last interview was interesting, cause Marko told something about Live dvd, Old Gods of Asgard and Cover songs.

We have discussed already Cover songs here.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3707

What about Acoustic, Live & Remix songs? Or World tour, where countries/cities POTF could go? Or who artist would be the best duet artist for POTF?

My wishes for an Acoustic album would be any/all of these songs:

3 AM
Carnival of Rust
Change
Desire
All the Way / 4U
Dreaming Wide Awake
War
Someone Special
Fragile
Given and Denied
Illusion & Dream
Late Goodbye
Morning Tide
The Ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper
Rewind
Shallow
Skin
Stay
Cradled in Love
The beautiful ones
The poet and the muse
You're Still Here

And even if in my opinion these piano songs:

Sleep
Where Do We Draw the Line
Heal My Wounds

mean the pure beauty and perfection, I think they would have also sound great and new turned into acoustic guitar arrangements.

What kind of POTF book you would like to have if they would write a book about POTF? What things they could include in the book in your mind?

A Poets of the fall book would be great. I would like to read more about the guys previous POTF projects and how they have turned on this style of genre, I mean from jazz and other styles to their own style from now. It would be interesting how they all met together and decided that there is a connection between them and how/when Marko has decided to choose this way in his life. I’ve read a lot of interviews and I’ve found a lot of great things, but I would also like to read more about Playground times and which were the most important inspirational moments. What the other members have done before POTF, what kind of hobbies they have... and life on the road funny stories would be nice to be included too. :)

I would like to have a POTF book, what have stories about their childhood, interest of music, earlier bands and their way to start POTF. It could also have stories about POTF, stories behind the songs, stories about their concerts and great pictures. They could also add to the book for example cd with demo/unreleased/remix/live songs.
