according to Amazon.de it's 2 tracks:
• radio edit
• instrumental radio edit
cover:
Image

shall be getting it soon ☺
but - would be nice to know if that one is in fact the part of canon, the continuation of discography with its proper POTF## number, etc.
---
also, could somebody help me order it from german site (i'm behind language barrier)
i would give a cool russian POTF CD in exchange ☻

Check this: http://www.recordshopx.com/single/poets_of_the_fall/kamikaze_love/#cds

Trusted site, fast delivery worldwide...

edit: ...and cheaper shipping costs. Amazon really try to shed your skin

edit: The instrumental version is on the German edit, not the studio one

but Amazon's price = 5 EUR, RSX = 8 EUR, it's not evident which price is better with postage
also amazon has it already while RSX has it delayed for one week (till 20th april) ☺

Google Chrome has a translate page feature (actually, it uses Google Translate, but it more convenient). You could just enter the page and set it to translate automatically from German.

No offence taken.

Actually, I had to order form both sites and then cancel my request. Amazon didn't even asked for my credit card (remembering from last time).

And don't get upset when you hear the full version. It kinda sucks compared to the original. But if I know this will help the guys to break in Germany, I'll gladly order a second copy :)

if the single is a part of POTF numerology, then there's no other choice i'm afraid

Can someone please explain this picture to me. It's beautiful and reminiscent of Athenian sculpture, but what is the statue doing with her hand?

I just found another cover of Kamikaze Love looking like that:

Image

Please, don't blame me if it's not new to you but I'm not that informed about the guys and I do not even know if it's an official cover. ^^

No worries, nobody is going to blame you of anything. From what I know it was "an official cover", it was displayed at Amazon, and as a "preview" - just the title, not the whole image - on guys FB by remote music, but then there were some last minute changes of the cover.

IMO the one you posted looks a whole lot better, but the idea with another angel and bridge lyrics that eventually ended up being the single cover is also cool.

Alright, thanks for that information. I just lately do not have the time to be online very often and miss all that important stuff. :cry:
I have to admit that I like the red one better too but the cover right now is brilliant as well.

Seconding you :)

And I also find that the first one is more related to the darker side of the "kamikaze love" ("a love that is doomed, in a way", "this is about the death of love" - someone special said... if I got it right!); instead, the official one seems to be more "close" to "the spark of hope you just have to find into the song, yourself" (not exactly the same words, but...). At least that's what the more gentle imagine&colour makes me think, just IMO. :)
Another hint about the cover tarot, btw... :wink:

P.S.: I really love that RED!

My CD did not arrived yet. Meanwhile, I heard the whole radio edit. I gotta say it's... weird. I don't know did the Remote music intentionally made it that way or just tried to rebuild the song from the ground up. Lots of cool elements are missing. As a friend of mine said: "The beginning sounds like a 8-bit song". I guess the instrumental edit would be great for listening while playing Super Mario, but ...

Since I'll probably going to be in a minority here I'll post it for contrast :P

I _love_ German radio edit. It's just like I thought it will be when I got my ToT album and compared the snippet with the album version. Ok, I admit and understand, the beginning and the beat overall (added elements, dunno how to call it better, my musical education sucked big time) might be slightly annoying for some people but for me it really does one trick I wish the guys would make more often in their songs (but I guess that's my private quirk). And the prolonged "fall" after bridge is epic, I got chills the first time I heard it. Of cos, that doesn't mean that the album version is bad in any way :) I just have more KL to enjoy :D

@Claudia and Serinde

Yes, I like this "old" cover too. It looks a bit more like blood and much more dangerous and darker. The red colour cries "alert" and would fit with the song quite good.

@Dorle

Thank you for posting it. I knew that there was a different version of it but I didn't know how it looks like.

@Arvigeus

Weird .. that's really the right word. I asked remote music once why they even did another version and they told me that the guy (I think his name is Schröder) is a "big well-known" man in the music scene in Germany and radio stations would pick a song with his name on it easier.
And yes, the beginning is something that I really dislike in this version. Just not my kind of music I'm used to listen to. It sounds so "electronic". There are the same notes in the original but in the German version they predominate. :shock:
So for me it's a nice collector's item. I listend to it a few times and put it on my shelf. :)
... and I don't want to talk about the "Super Mario" mix :roll:

Finally got it after months of delays. OK, I could easily accept the different mix (but will never like it much), but why they missed to add lyrics to the cover? It's too plain. And I so hoped to see the red cover.
