I have been thinking about the Air Force too. But not to fly. I would like to try to be in the Space Command part of it... but after that... or if that doesn't work out, I want to be a History teacher.

My life dream is to work with POTF. And now I'm achieving it. I currently work as a POTF forum spammer.

I wanted to be a fighter pilot! Not because of war but because of combat aircrafts, it'd be amazing to fly one 8) Anyway, impossible as well..

Although how do you choose? So much to do! *w*

Geoscience is nerd stuff??? I don't consider myself as such, I am a geoscientist myself and I chose it because a geoscientist has a lot to do with creativity; when we talk about time passing by we mean practically years, actually million of years; our working partner is the entire planet, if not the entire universe...and that is cool. A geoscientist does not generally deal with "pure science" it redefines science...

I would very much like to be a psychologist, and even though I'm only 17, I've already started looking into the matter and started reading a lot, etc. I think it's just the job that suits me best.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be an artist. I wanted to go to art school and learn to draw and paint like the masters. And my skill was decent for a kid. I simply lacked refinement. But I was told that art doesn't pay the bills, and that I should do something else that wouldn't land me in debt. So art was put to the side...and now I can barely draw stick figures.

I wanted to be a muscian. I took piano lessons for a couple years (and then quit because I wanted to learn jazz and the teacher only wanted to teach me overly floral pieces), I was in the choir at school (for a year) and at church (for several years). The director of the children's choir church thought I had talent, and she refused to let me leave the choir even when all I wanted to do was get out from under her grasp and just listen to the sermon. I joined the school band in junior high and spent 5 years in the percussion section, but I couldn't practice at home because dad worked nights and slept during the day, and we were told to never disturb his sleep. I took a guitar class in college, but had to be careful when practicing because the walls in our dorm were paper-thin, and I didn't want anyone to complain. I was told that music doesn't pay the bills, and I should do something that won't land me in debt. So music was eventually put aside...and now I can't sing and I'm afraid of practicing anything because I'm afraid of being heard.

I wanted to be a writer. I love stories. As a kid, I used to read all the time and make up stories about the characters in the books or from the cartoons on TV. My imaginary friends were Peter Pan and the Mad Hatter. As I got older, I started to create my own characters and my own worlds. I wrote constantly, always working on one story or another, but rarely finishing anything because I'd get too many ideas and work on too many things...and then forget what I was doing. I took creative writing courses in college, and my professors liked my work. But I was told that writing doesn't pay the bills. I was told that I should go to college and major in whatever I wanted to...as long as it paid the bills.

So I started in forensic psychology, and then switched to psychology and English...and then just English with a minor in History. And when I graduated, I couldn't find a job. I went to graduate school with the idea of being a professor...but I missed out on the Teaching Assistantship, and so I don't have the teaching experience needed or the Doctoral degree required to get a professorship. I tried switching gears and going into Computer Science, and I bombed spectacularly. And now I'm in debt up to my eyeballs for having listened to everyone who told me that what I wanted to be would never pay the bills.

But I can still write. That's the one thing I never put aside. And while I still lack refinement and have trouble finishing projects, just wait. Just you wait. I will conquer my demons, and one day I will be the next Stephen King.

I've graduated as a journalist. Working as a content-manager and web-designer. But my main goal is to become a writer. Prefer modern city mystery (no vampires, werevolwes and stuff). Angels, demons, Fallen - my kind of style. And also - mixture between reality and vision.

Dreamed about becoming a street dance performer, but don't know...

No politics here on the forum, please. I realize you didn't necessarily say anything in an offensive manner, but still. It's right here in the first dotted paragraph of forum rules.

I've always liked the idea of art. Ever since I was little, I would draw one picture after another. When I was about five or six years old I wanted to learn what my big sis was also learning: Anime Art. Even though I liked painting more, I couldn't really do it on an everyday basis, so I leaned toward pencil drawings instead. And, though I'm slightly good at anime art now, I'm currently starting to learn to draw life-like portraits. But I still want to do painting, so, hopefully, my future career will be Art-related. Of course when I'm out of muse, I try all sorts of art such as clay modelling, Origami, Kirigami (Somewhat), photography, and singing.

But I know, in the bottom of my heart, that I'll be a painter one day. :) I just hope I'm not like Van Gogh... ( In case people don't know, Vincent Van Gogh sold one or two paintings professionally while he was alive. After he died that's when people started to buy his work since in the Art Industry the value of your works are worth more if you're dead. Hope that helps!)

Same with me, but I kept going as a hobby... Meanwhile studying administration, but I had no money to finish it...

Now a couple years later I have found something what I find very interesting, creative and technical, something you can find a job with... Prepress :)

Definition from google:
Prepress is the term used in the printing and publishing industries for the processes and procedures that occur between the creation of a print layout and the final printing. The prepress procedure includes the manufacture of a printing plate, image carrier or form, ready for mounting on a printing press, as well as the adjustment of images and texts or the creation of a high-quality print file.

Also, working on a special digital painted project for Erin :)

I graduated as a political analyst with a minor in Social Politics and Human Rights. Meanwhile, I found my happiness in translation and volunteering which lead me to wellness-industry that, paradoxically, will help me to do whatever I want to do in the future! :)
