Well that's different, the words on War cover don't seem english, the small ones, I mean (in the first look, it seemed to me like that) and they're too many, as well... :?

Arvigeus, I think you're right. It doesn't really fit the melody (I tried). Unless it's the bridge... But it's a little long for a bridge.

Oh, that one unsolved word on the cover isn't easy. I think too there's a "k" and maybe a "b"/"l"... And I'm not sure if there's something like an "e" or "o"... Hmm :|

Is it French on War cover?

I can't find the cover art anywhere... I could probably tell if it's French (I know some other languages as well, enough to recognize them if not translate the words even.) So if anyone has a link...

Edit: Ok, am I stupid or what... it's here at POTF website, discography section.
Edit2: Yes it's French. Not sure if it makes sense to try and translate it, as it's clearly just some isolated strip from a larger text. It would make sense if you could see those lines continuing... but as it is, not much point there perhaps.

I think the title "Temple of Thought" can be described this way:

"Temple" is referred to as a pure person or a person in touch with the divine. "Thought" can be known as the creator of evil and can make a person evil. That is why Marko is an angel on the "Temple" side of the card and the devil (or a demon) on the "Thought" side.

Marko said, "With silence comes peace" after the song "Illusion and Dream". I think "Thought" can stop that peace.

That's really really interesting. :) But you're missing the "of" in between those two words. With your interpretation, this would mean "a pure devine person of evil thoughts" or something along those lines. That in itself seems like a paradox that can't exist. The pure one will no longer be pure after the first thought enters his/her mind.

Sorry, didn't mean to debate you, just that your shared thoughts poked my thoughts into existance. :P

I think that the whole text (the big part and the smaller part) is a letter :)
What we can see underneath the moth looks like the address the person who receives it. The other part includes "je" (I), "vous" (the polite way of saying "you", like "Sie" in German), and "Monsieur" (Sir).

Judging from the handwriting, it's a fairly old text (and the 4th line from the bottom reads "Roi" at one moment, which is "King"). However, as DSoL pointed, it's quite difficult to tell what this is exactly about.

And, before I forget to mention it: the word "Provence" can be read twice, on the moth and the very last word at the bottom also reads it. I'm not 100% sure about it, but I think I once read somewhere that if Marko were to live in France, he'd choose a house somewhere in Provence, which is a warm and nice region of Southern France :)

I thought it was so obvious, so I didn't mention it. :P

I didn't look at all the words there, so I didn't see Roi (tho I would have known the word). But I actually thought of throwing in a joke to my comment about the text being from 13th century France, but decided it was too silly to include. :D And someone might have thought it for real...

I believe that a divine person can have evil thoughts. Thought can make a person evil and not pure, however. So, yes, a pure divine person of evil thoughts is correct because evil thought doesn't necessarily make a person impure. The only way to become impure is to let thought overpower the temple and there is no longer a balance. Evil thought making a person impure is just a label Christianity slapped on. That is why a person, or Marko on the cover, is a TEMPLE of thought. Sorry if I sound confusing. Getting philosophical ideas put into words is sort of a poetic way of explaining... no pun intended, lol.

@Thinkingman85, I think I'm catching your drift now, at least a little. So in your opinion every kind of thought is evil? The more we think, the more likely it is to become overpowered by evil? Sorry, this just brings a lot of questions to my mind now. If there needs to be a balance, what is the counter-active force of thought? Action? Lack of thought? Or is there anything that can counter a thought to bring a better balance? Or are we doomed to drift further away from pure-ness and toward evil with every single thought we have? :)

Thought in and of itself is not evil because the temple, or pure person, has thoughts. The thoughts can become evil and make the temple impure if they are not controlled. Like Marko said, "With silence comes peace. With peace comes freedom. With freedom comes silence." To have a silent mind, a mind with thought, as opposed to a loud mind, a mind of thought, a person must be a temple of thought and not a thought controlled temple. We are all temples of thought, but not many acknowledge.

@Dark Side of Light, you know what, I didn't even glanced at the lines down there, I just read that small print, head tilted.. If I'd have, I'd have known immediately the language of the text because there are words that clearly are France. Clever me  Can I blame this huge headache? Or probably I'm just as scatterbrained as usually :P Thanks, anyway!

I wouldn't be surprised. Marko probably have a habit to post old love letters in their arts. One of the wallpapers (and page from the SoL cover) on the secret page also contains part of love letter.

I agree!

A saying of the Jewish sage Rav Kook:

'The holy war isn't a war between people, but it takes place inside yourself. It breaks out when you strike out against your dark side, saying to your good side: "Grow"!

So, thoughts emerge after one has a certain kind of desire for.... whatever ... and emotions one has, give thoughts good or bad direction, after they emerged.... I think... then one has to decide, that is where free will comes into play :) ... but its interesting and worth it to analyse this more, in order to understand oneself.

Or it might also be that we won't hear anything more till the release day... :|
Can't wait to see CiL video and promo pics, at the moment; just need to see the video as soon as possible, cos I already started to visualize it into my mind and I don't wanna do that... :x

Wooo! New music video! I wonder what the other music video for ToT might be since they've been doing 2 per album

My guess is Kamikaze Love, because of the special exclusive German single. :)

I'm sure they'll let us know. They just gave an early heads up, so that we know to follow up on the news to find out which day it's going to be. It won't be over the weekend, I think. Sometime next week.
