 :o

Too much POTF infos as for the last couple of days. Sometimes I feel like I cannot keep up with it. But it's okay :P

Same here! I've lost track of everything for a while, but all I can say is: I can't wait to hear the album, because I don't know what I am expecting :) and Kamikaze love sounds awesome!

The only bad news is that we won't be able to hear it before the release of the album... I was hoping for the single to be released soon...

Ohhh, fan heaven! :D
I would have bought the German version of the album anyway, just for supporting the guys, but to actually have a reason woudl be even better! 8)

Note: Some of us (especially German guys) might have weak hearts... please update the infos with care!

Kamikaze Love is the single... this album really looks weird (from the names of singles) they sound very different from the previous albums.

Well it is very evident in that little 45 second clip of Kamikaze Love that they are trying some Experimental things as previously stated by Marko.

What a thrill ride all of this is.

I wonder if this will be available outside of Germany?

As a pre-SoL fan I would really like to add it to my collection (which currently holds all the physical singles and albums).

I think that you can buy it from shops like Amazon.de

Uh-huh. The 45 sec clip doesn't convince me but I'll stay open minded and positive :)

Edit: I mean Kamikaze Love.

Again: this version was made in Germany, and sounds quite different from the one on the album.

Kamikaze Love snippet... I like it very much. And I almost can't wait to hear both full versions of this song too. ^^ With what I've heard so far, I think this album might very well become my favorite with its very versatile songs.

The backgrounds of Kamikaze Love in that clip do remind me a little of Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out Of My Head backgrounds. The idea is much better executed in Kamikaze Love, tho. :P Or maybe I just have a slight bias here.

Admin, you really put a weight off my mind. Okay, it's a very short clip and when it finally starts and gets interesting it stops ....
But why has the German version to be different?

maybe some of the original lyrics sound offensive to Germans? you know, similar how they cut out "Ich tu dir weh" song out of Rammstein album...

Ask the German radios. :) Apparently songs that are played on the radio there have to follow certain rules and have a certain "sound", and naturally a German top producer knows how to achieve that best. The difference is in the structure, instrumentation and overall mix, the lyrics and vocals etc. are pretty much the same.

Oh, this is so fun! The POTF tsunami is rushing over us! :D

Kamikaze Love sounds amazing! It made my skin crawl quite a few times. And it's going to be a physical single? YEAH! 8) Gotta get some money for the single(s?) and the German version of ToT if I'll be able to buy them. I want my own credit card so that I could spend all my money on the POTF stuff

And I bought THS and BStD at day. The full version of BStD is wonderful, I love it! Although seems like I love everything, but what else could I do? :D

I had this exact thought too :D

In just a couple of days we've had BStD (awesome), THS (eargasn!) and Kamikaze Love (which we've only heard a snippet of a remixed version.. but that thing sounds pretty amazing *.*)

You get flooded with awesomeness... you can't help but loving them ♥

Yep, unfortunately they do. Pretty much most stuff played on the radio here sounds very "similar" as in has a certain sound that allows you to just let it play in the background without listening to the words and a melody taht gets stuckmin your ear. At least that what all the songs sound like to me, which is why I don't listen to the radio much. Beware something might be really interesting or different in terms of music and it won't be played. :( (at least that is my feeling, but of course I am no expert).
I can hear some of that "typical German radio sound" in the short clip. The first thing I thought was "Yep, that might fit the radio stations here" (at least the one I listen to). So while I would prefer a sound that is a little different to what I hear in the clip, I am sure this has a good chance of being played. :) Let's hope I'm right.

First thought when hearing the snippet was: This is Pop o_O But I totally love the refrain!

Just for kicks, I'll emphasize once more: the version in the clip was mixed by a German producer Mic Schröder (a big name in German music world), and by "mixing" I mean some major things in the song were changed/redone. On the album you'll hear the band's own mix, which is probably a little less "pop", be it a good or bad thing. :)

But I agree, let's hope radios will pick this one, that was the whole poimt of using Mic and his expertise in the field. :) And in any case, this is only the beginning. Conquering a new country is an enormous task and a long process, and it happens step by step...

Only a short clip is available, here:

It will be released as a full single a little later.

Same here! (or almost). What I like about the Poets' songs is that whenever I listen to them, I feel something special, as if I already heard them somewhere. But not in the "Oh it reminds me of another song" way, more in a "This song was meant to be" way.

Am I clear or just being weird? :D

I must say that the clip of Kamikaze Love is really catchy. I am definitely looking forward to the full versions of both mixes.

@MayDayCall, you're not being weird. They sound right to me too, like that's what they're supposed to be, nothing needs to be added or taken out. But it's my way to get a lot of associations to other music for some reason. Don't know why it is, but it happens.

Ok, I hear ya! :) I'm not saying it sounds bad, not at all (why would I, it's only a snippet). Just the first thing you hear in the snippet is the "poppy" sound so that is the first thought that entered my mind.

@MaydayCall: You're clear to me :)

@Burning Vegas: I seriously look forward to hearing both mixes too. Maybe a little bit to compare them aswell :) Good that we can get it as a physical CD. I dunno if Remote Music would make it available in FLAC like in the digistore.

@MaydayCall: you're not weird at all. It all makes sense to me. :)

Bought the flac files from the Digistore today and have now a full CD of all the songs I got as FLACs. Ah the sound quality even on my crappy stereo. *gets all dreamy eyed*
