Thank you!

And *spoiler?* in the same channel, there's this video, where I think we can hear some of The Happy Song, from 36:00, covered by shots ^^
While at 27:00 I think it's OGOA

Hmm, seems like at 27:00 we can hear that solo from the full 6 min. length version of the song!

The new Old Gods Of Asgard song is really awesome.

Can't wait to play the game.

I really like Balance Slays The Demon. A lot! I get a lot of associations to other music however. Nothing specific, just impressions. Michael Jackson's Thriller. Nightwish's Devil And The Deep Dark Ocean. And something else in the keyboards that I can't place (except it sounds somehow typically 80's). And still it's just completely its own song, very unique. I like the lyrics too. But especially the guitar riffs (I seem to like them the best in all Old Gods of Asgard songs).

@DSoL: That was my first thought, Nightwish, haha :D Seriously this rocks! I want to go to an OGOA gig! :D

... and we'll get 6 MINUTES of this? HELL YEAH!

Just awesome, it blows my mind! Wonderful guitar riffs and everything, Captain has made amazing work and Marko sounds really good! How they do all this? Old Gods of Asgard, no doubt ;)

@Dark Side of Light
Almost the same came to my mind when I listened the song. It sounds like 80's (and somehow reminded me of Tobacco Road, maybe it's Marko's voice?) and so on, but it's something very new and, as you said, unique. Man, the boys really are magicians :) :D

I love this song - instant classic!

Some more assocations: the guitar riff in the beginning sounds Van Halen-ish and some of the singing, I'm not entirely sure... Royal Hunt? Gotthard? or - dare I say - Europe maybe? And someone else I cannot put my finger on. I'll figure it out eventually.... :D
Anyway, it's just great and has something very unique in all this familiarity. Have I mentioned I'm a sucker for 80ies Rock? This is right up my alley! <- this is about how big the grin is on my face right now.

Now where can I buy this? I need it on my iPod now!

Whoa thanks for the recent developments you guys!

Very cool to taste both of these songs, can't wait till their official releases.

The OGOA definitely got that 80s twang for sure.

Just heard it - I like it a lot :D I have a soft spot for the 80s sound and the guitars are stunning. And Marko's voice of course, - it never ceases to amaze me :D

I've actually been feeling very 80s lately listening to music these days especially from this one electronic artist called Kavinsky where his style is practically influenced by a Ferrari Testarossa and you also always end up thinking of that old Outrun arcade game from 1986, very awesome to have that nostalgic feeling... i mean I'm only 23 and born in 89 but i grew up on 80s fantasy movies and all the novelty things that came from that era so it's like i was born in 79 instead.

The fact that OGoA are reflecting such a time in their music really makes ya feel good.

Ahhhh those riffs!

Actually, it makes sense. OGoA was supposed to exist and perform in the middle 80s, if you remember the story of Alan Wake.

MMMUUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Balance Slays The Demon by Old Gods of Asgard:
do we really need more to get how wildly terrific these Guys are?????

"Jump" by Van Halen came immediately to my mind and some Scorpions' flavour; guitars reefs, 80's rock indeed! With a bit of Children of the Elder God in the beginning...
And the voice! THAT VOICE AGAIN!!!The darker one always recall me Metallica, somehow... But indeed, such a characteristic, unique, VERSATILE, I-N-C-O-M-P-A-R-A-B-L-E voice which can belong only to "The Voice", Mr Marko Saaresto!
And I said just all!

Edit: oops! Seems like I've gone a bit overboard...
I forgot to say that I officially declare I have a wild crush for Mr Scratch!
Don't tell me that he died in the end, cos if it's so I go and save him before someone destroy him!!!

Awesome!

I just bought it, 99 cents well spent. WOO! it's nice having prepaid funds laying around in my iTunes wallet still from Christmas.

I love how the poets adds nice links to the game like the voice over between chorus (in the game there's the voice over from Night Springs).
Love the solo too!

Oh and there's another secret part, just after the solo the lyrics are all reversed... Will have to be processed to see wha they truly means...
