poooh - I'm sooo very impatiently and Peacekeeper Jeremiah doesn't help to calm down :P
can't await the final song title, neither the release of the album

Very intriguing titles...

was thinking, maybe the "happy song" is gonna be a b-side to the german single release, give fans there a little extra incentive...

Ok, so...:
"Morning Tide" reminds me also about "Dawn".
"The Ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper", I don't know but when I checked Twitter when I was all tired at uni and I saw the title, I have no idea why but somehow I thought this is a joke ( ), like what? The title was not expected :P

Ok, with the guys it's hardly to guess anything! :D

When I read there's one more song to go, I got upset a bit... :( I really thought (hoped), that tomorrow the guys will announce "The Happy Song" (and yeah, from the very first time I heard the part of this song I thought it will be from OGoA, and still I've got this feeling... :? ), and the day later they will announce the last song, which will be this calm one, perfect for the ending of the album and also it will make the perfert 12 songs, just like SoL and CoR have.
And now I am even more than confused :|

I thought about this too :D

'Skin'

weird one. :S

'Skin' has me intrigued a bit. A band called Breaking Benjamin had a song called 'Skin' on their debut album and it was more of a pop rock song, but I am hoping to Poet's version is a slow, dark song. It will be interesting with how the song turns out and I am curious as to the lyrics, but I just imagine a slow song with dark undertones.

Or POTF might have decided that a thing to esperiment was quitting the "soft song as finale" and having a psycho songthere instead.

Or we all might be part of the esperiment by POTF, that consisted in driving your fans mad with enigma. if so.. great done guys, you succeded!

When I first saw the title 'Morning Tide' I thought that it might be the spiritual successor to Sleep and Dawn. I remember Marko saying in an interview that the two song are connected, with sleep comes dawn. After dawn, the morning begins and perhaps the line from 'Dawn' "Together we'll face the turning tide" works to bridge the gap between 'Dawn' and 'Morning Tide'? Perhaps the idea of the morning tide flooding and then ebbing acts a metaphor to washing away the pain of the past allowing one to begin the day anew, as yesterday's pain that you went to sleep with and had to face when waking up at dawn.

I think I will stop my rambling there as I know I am probably completely off center with my idea :P

'The Ballad of Jerimiah Peacekeeper'... For me, the song title came out of nowhere, but I am very curious as to the sound and lyrics.

Perhaps a version of Grinder's blues that branched out on its own during writing for Rochard?

Track list complete!

Thoughts about the album?

...Also, if you type in 'the happy song poets of the fall' on youtube, the first result is psychosis...

you were right the last song will be the happy song. this album won't contain a slow ending song. and i also guess that we will hear this song soon...

"And track #11... yes, it's the (in)famous "The Happy Song" featured in Alan Wake's American Nightmare OUT TODAY ON XBOX LIVE ARCADE!"

Uaaaa I wanted an amazing ending piano song!!! Well hopefully it will be somewhere else in the album... Anyway, I didn't like so much The Happy Song from the few bits I've heard. I'd preferred it to be a OGOA song...

I first thought that The Happy Song is going to be Old Gods of Asgard's song (like most of else I think), but it was kind of surprising that it's going to be the last track on Temple of Thought. As the other albums have a slow song as the last track, ToT is making a small change to that
I can't wait to hear the full version of that song

I bet Track #10: "The Ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper" will be an epic emotional piano driven "closing" song, just like Sleep, Dawn, Where do we draw the line and Heal my wounds. So if someone isn't satisfied you can stop the record there! :D

I'm not sure anyone of us actually heard "The Happy Song". There was lots of bits played, not none of them was labeled as "The Happy Song" I think. Besides, ToT would be very wicked successor of SoL and CoR if ends with crazy song. My bet is that "The Happy Song" will be credits song (like Late Goodbye). But tonight we will hear out...

Finally it hit me what is the common between the 3 albums: X of Y :D

^^^hm, I never thought about it this way, but you are right. as far as I recall it has never been confirmed that the Psycho song is actually "The Happy Song", it was just the common assumption (or am I missing something here?)

We will hear. ... ;)

I remember reading somewhere the Happy Song will be in Alan Wake and that "there may be more". I would guess that this would mean the "Psycho" song is an Old God's of Asgard track.

Either way, very excited for the new album. :D

Could anyone be so kind and dig up Sam Lake's tweet? I don't think he actually said that the song from the AW trailer is called "the Happy Song" or did he?
(I'd do the digging myself, but I'm at work - no Twitter here)

^^ Yeah, found it with google - and there goes Arvigeus' theory... Too bad, I liked it.

So then I guess no ballad to end the album. Strange, but we have a ballad at spot 3 :D
Wait, didn't I see I wasn't surprised by anything any more? OK, then, I'll just wait to be amazed.

Oh and you can all laugh at me now because The Happy Song is not an OGOA song. :D

Question: Now that the game is out, will THS soon be on youtube? I mean, can you get the song from the game to upload to youtube?
