Me and my gf are going to Tavastia Gig this year. I liked it a lot last year (was the damn tall guy with the iphone on the hand the whole gig xD) and wanted to do something special for gf, since we are coming from Spain and its a bit expensive to keep coming every year.

Idea its to wear both tshirts :)
Image

Having the two shirts together, you can read Overboard lyrics, our "love song" ^^

Too bad they wont play it :( it could have been one of the most special days i ever had.
*wish*

I mean to tell you, that stanza is one of my favorites! You really matched the feeling I get when I hear Marko sing those words :) .

Oh Lana, your drawing is so sweet, so delicate... just as the new single "Cradled in Love"

You're a great artist, you know!

Thank you for sharing :)

DanceOfFlame, blue sapphire eyes was all I had in my mind when started to paint. The rest came later :lol: I find many PotF songs inspiring but this new one is so gentle and sweet, so I couldn't resist :roll:

There's a soul in those blue sapphire eyes, Lana.

It is so touching... ♥

@donan, the shirts are an awesome idea for a couple. Great job!

@LanaVdV, astounding as always! I agree with DanceOfFlame, there's soul in that drawing, it comes alive in a way. It's so beautiful (and oh how I love blue flowers...)!

That's what came to my mind too when looking at it. You caught the meaning of CiL in this drawing. Awww .... what else can I say? Perfect :)

Dark Side of Light, Porthos13, thank you so much! :roll: It was my old dream to draw something like this but I just couldn't get it right. And CIL just gave me the right feeling. Though everytime I draw Marko, I reproach myself for not drawing anyone else. Olli would look perfect in this picture, for example. :lol: But the truth is I draw Marko even when I don't intend to draw him. My hand just moves in Mark-ish style, it's helpless. :D

@LanaVdV, CiL and your drawing: a whole song into a gaze... this is something incredibly special... Thank you so...

@donan, I love your idea! And I really hope to see you wearing those t-shirts... "live"... :wink:

@Donan

Somehow I missed your posting with the t-shirts. But finally I noticed it.
This is a wonderful idea and I will look carefully to find both of you at Tavastia. :)

@LanaVdV

Your drawing is beautifully scary!
It reminds me "Revolution Roulette"... It's like being trapped in a nightmare... running out of time to find the way out!

Thanx! :D It was a sudden idea. I don't know if I showed the feeling of a huge city where you're just a part of something (yep, my greetings to RR!) and this machine is always in motion and you run, run, run... My vision of RR is close. But it has faceless people as parts of the machine (there're simple gears as well). On this ROoT pic there's a human moving forward (actually from the right, I know).

@ritwik, The Distance is really beautiful, I love the foggy morning (reminds me also of Someone Special "a foggy morning greets me quietly today"). And I like the idea of an old man having a stroll. He has a long distance of life behind him already, but also a long physical distance ahead of him, if he intends to walk far. Your previous artwork is very beautiful too, I just haven't gotten around to comment before. :)

@donan, all I can say is awwwwwww :)

@Lana.....fantastic! Marko is inspiring :wink:

@donovan......those are so great! Perfect for a couple's concert! :)

@ritwick........

A foggy morning greets me quietly today
I smell a fragrance in the wind blowing my way
And ever further I run to find her
I yearn to define my life
Placing my faith in chance to meet me in half way

Fantastic as usual!

Great artist tend to attract great artists.......no matter what the medium! :)

I usually do not post art work online, but I thought why not...
This is my first real picture I drew of Marko :)
