Dang wish I could be there in July too :( ; but already made plans for SF then to see my family)

This one this weekend, so far is my only one, although there are still a few U2 tickets available here! Maybe, just maybe I can scrape up the cash! :D

Seen Raphael Gualazzi yesterday in Fiesole.
Really good music, great show... and the concert was in a Roman theater (this one). I didn't even know it till I got there: it was.. breathtaking :o

Iron Maiden in Olympic Stadion in July. It was amazing!
Tori Amos in Helsinki Ice hall in September , can´t wait.. :)

And lot's of finnish bands during the year. Next will be Amorphis in Tavastia.

What can I say.. I´m a metalhead with a soft side 8)

Well, my 10 year wait is over and went to see Tori Amos last night in Helsinki icehall!
Piano, 3 violins and 1 cello.. and nothing else but Tori´s beautiful voice...
It was amazing!!! 8)
Can´t really say anthing else about it at the moment... :)

Not many gigs this year so far.. The only gig I can remember is Sparzanza on 26.2. at Nosturi, Helsinki.

Some upcoming gigs:

25.11 Poets of the Fall @ Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki

I'd want to go see Hurst 15.10 in Helsinki, but it'd be too expensive (train tickets from the other side of Finland get a bit too expensive for my liking, plus the hotels are not cheap). Something I think I should live closer to Helsinki if I ever wanted to see any good bands, rarely do they come this far north.. :x

My Bandrecord is Gaslight Anthem with 8 times since Summer 2009. The last time it felt like I would going to the backer. Like day-routine.

Actually, measured by fans who tour with Bruce, my number of concerts is low.

Oh TGA :) They are fun. Did you see The Revival Tour as well?

No, unfortunately not, I was in Vietnam at that time.
But I'm kinda overdosed with Brian Fallons Voice right now. I need some months, to enjoy it again (well talking about the Gaslight Songs - the Horrible Crowes ones are still on repeat *g*) - and I'm sure they're playing some shows in Germany again this year.

I also find The Horrible Crowes quite different from TGA, even though it's the same voice. Haven't listened to tha album much though. You missed something, the Revival Tour was amazing, but I'm sure Vientnam was interesting too.

Redbossfan, according to your amazing number of gigs per year, I assume you got a huge inheritance or travelling and gigs are part of your job. :wink: :lol:

^^ neither is a case, I have a regular job. I just don't go away on a big vacation every year and prioritize concerts over other things in life. No house to pay off, no car, no kids. Other people go on shopping sprees, I go to concerts. All a matter of deciding what you want to spend your money on. :wink: Also, I am not in my 20ies any more.

Well, at least one PotF gig in 2012 for me. I just bought a ticket to the tavastia gig. :D
