I'm not a huge sci-fi fan, but this sounds intriguing. I shall look it up and probably even check it out. (You had me at elf rockstar ;) )

It is well worth checking out =) There is a bit of techno babble here and there, but nothing too overbearing. Most of the time the text flows smoothly and sometimes the pace just accelerates so much that you just can't put the book down. And there is also plenty romantic entangelments to spice up the adventure.
(And yep, Zal the elf rockstar is my favourite character ;))

Edmond Rostand - "Cyrano de Bergerac".
It's my favorite French play, so beautifully written

"La Possibilité d'une île", by Michel Houellebecq (no, I don't speak French: I read it in Italian).
I read it just cause someone insisted that I'd like it, but I didn't like it, at all. Not recommended. :|

While I've already started reading "Life, the Universe and Everything", by Douglas Adams... and i'm wondering what took me so long to buy it :D
Almost finished it already, can't wait to read all the next chapters of the series (the series "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy": highly recommended ^^)

And part 1, A Wizard of Earthsea, of The Earthsea Cycle is finished!

It jumped straight up into my EPIC category.... The stories of heroic deeds are to be continued!

Ready Player One from Ernest Cline. Omg, I haven't devoured a book like this in ages, I just couldn't put it down!

It is a book about future, virtual reality, 80's nostalgia, old arcade and computer games, rpg's and geek power! Fast paced adventure thriller with humor and a lot to geek out about! It instantly became one of my all time favourite books. Go and read it, now! :D

^^ I had that as an audio book. Very funny indeed.

Last book I read was Karin Slaughter's Fallen and I must say it left me somewhat disappointed. I used to love her books, but lately she does not seem to care about her characters any more. :(

No, it's all about a trip to Africa.

I just finished "The Hunger Games" By Suzanne Collins.

It's good, really gripping and action-packed. I just don't know how I feel about the Peeta/Katniss 'relationship.' I was a little sickened by all the fluff that came into the games. At first it was sweet, and then all the fluff that happened later on was just...too much. hahaha. For Katniss sake, I'd pick Gale. He seems more suited for her. But, that's just me. hahaha. :)

Now, off to see the movie. :P

Started Catching Fire. So far so good. I'm anxious to see what their world holds next. :D

We Need to talk about Kevin by Lionel Shriver. Shriver is brilliant author, one of my favourites, definitely. :) Release Date of the movie based on that book is 20.4. here in Finland and I look forward to seeing it. Kevin is so evil, hrr.. He makes you think is it nature or nurture that determines a person's character..

Mila Teräs - Sininen huone

My favorite book so far. I love the way how feelings, surroundings and all are described and I always hope I could put my feelings into words as skillfully as Mila does. And I never get bored with the book - every time I read it I find something new.

^^ That sounds interesting - unfortunately it has not been translated.

Last I read? The Hunger Games Trilogy. I really enjoyed those, especially the first one. Pretty well written and I liked the characters.

Metro 2033. Has some differences from the game but still a great read. And I don't even read books that often
