... is feel an indescribable sensation, the first chords announces me that the song must be cool, I keep listening ... but when Marko start to sing... OH MY GOD! his voice seems from another world, it take my breath away, I feel dizzy, my stomach seems to have thousands of little butterflies in it and my heart seems to be covered into velvet and fire at the same time...

Listening to Poets of the Fall is... simply like being with the only one who totally knows you the most... the only one who really understands you... the only one who doesn't need you to speak, to know how you feel and what you need... the only one who is capable to give you such extreme emotions, that often you really don't need more... the only one with whom you know you don't need to pretend to be different from who you really are... the only one who makes you feel so good, strong, safe and ready to LIVE... (guess that's enough)

...always like the best friend who welcomes me at his home, regardless of my mood, in which I'm currently in, who embraces me, who is listening with his heart, who comforts me, helps me up and lifts me higher, who rejoices with we, who feels the joy I feel, laughs with me and cries with me, who always cares about me, loves me for what I really am, who I really am, without demanding anything, who gives me peace... yes I'm in peace again - always!!!

And as such, I love this friend of mine, because he gave me first what I needed the most! This do Poets of the Fall, when I'm listening to them. :D

I agree. Listening to Poets of the Fall is like healing, as Marko sings "kissing my pain away". No matter when, listening to them feels like home and feels close, whenever I feel lonely I listen to them and it gets better.

Like looking at the mirror.

Had the same feeling when I started listening to Linkin Park. Now, I'm reliving it.

A magnification of life.

They really talk about every day things and somehow make it so wonderful and magical, whether it be nice, sad, frustrating, or otherwise.

To see your lives every day may seem normal and, even boring, at times. But once you listen to their music, then you start to see things differently in your daily duties/jobs/chores/weekend nights out.

PotF, I bow down and tip my hat to you.

Listening to Poets of the Fall is...

Well, at first I have to tell few things. My first contact with POTF was through Carnival of Rust. The music was magnetic - very familiar and totally unknown at the same time. I was confused and felt like I was remembering an ancient dream or memory.
Then I downloaded whole discography, put it into my mp3 player and was about to going to bed... and in that very moment the first song from their fist album started to play (Lift). I was absolutely stunned. I listened whole album and I was 100% focused on each song, each word, each sound - that's something I haven't experienced for long time, maybe never in my life.
I must admit that when I discovered POTF I was going through rough time and was near mental breakdown. And when I was about to give up, a spark, a fire, a miracle appeared and I was able to breathe with fresh dose of hope again.
Next day, I was just listening over and over again all their songs. It was (and still is) like never-ending and tremendous blaze of sounds, colours and feelings. The pallete of all those things is so bright, rich and unfolds itself in enormous amount of possible and impossible directions. POTF showed me whole new world of things I've considered as that they couldn't exist/be ever expressed.
They showed me all this in time I needed it most. Simply, I can describe it like this: a meteor fell from the sky, hit and knocked me down and that impact triggered a cataclysmal reaction :). Since this, nothing will be exactly the same as it was before, I'm sure of it.
And just say "thanks" is not enough, but there hasn't been invented any better word, so thank you Poets of the Fall for all that magic you've brought/will bring into my life.

Nice day to everybody and thanks for listening :)
