My absolute favourites are all on the same level:

Fight Club
The Darjeeling Limited
Requiem for a Dream

If you haven't seen any of those, be sure to fix that as soon as you can. :P

Only 1 favorite?? Impossible. :P I have 3 I can never get tired of, for personal reasons, regardless of how good the films are.

Live Action
Rocky, American Beauty, and Girl, Interrupted.

:P Oh, and I have to throw these in, too:

Animated
Disney's Tarzan, My Neighbor Totoro, and Spirited Away

Glad to hear. This movie itself is really masterpiece, but the soundtrack - it`s awesome!

I can't name a complete favorite, but one movie that has always been able to keep me coming back, not only for Billy Bob Thornton's amazing acting, is

Sling Blade

I love lots of movies and I can't really pick one, but this movie was damn near perfect.

While it's probably not critically acclaimed or anything, i know it definitely wouldn't be winning any accolades like an Oscar but that's not why i like it, my personal favorite ever would have to be The Boondock Saints, no other movie compares to the enjoyment i have with that one.... i mean sure i have about 100 other "favorites" and movies i really love that i will watch again and again but Boondock takes the cake so to speak.

So many memorable scenes and quotes, it's also the kind of film i can get all my buddies together and get drunk while watching. Always fun.

Some people will disagree with how i have regarded the film but that's fine, that's why it's a personal favorite and not something EVERYONE is supposed to like, you just can't expect that no matter how you may perceive it although when i can get together with many people who do like the film and are fans of it there's so much opportunity to relate and have a good time.

I think it's 'Paulie'. I loved it when I was little, and It's the only movie where I still cry.. I don't know why, but I still love that movie.
Or maybe it's The Never Ending Story. I also saw that when I was little, and it made a deep impact on me. I cried because there were so many kids who didn't believe in the fantasy... :3
