This is definitely a tough one and one that I think honestly depends on the day.

Some days I'm feeling like 'Maybe Tomorrow is a Better Day', other days it's '15 Min Flame', still others it's 'Lift', but right now (and actually these past few weeks) I feel like 'Can You Hear Me?' fits pretty nicely as well.

for me, all of poets songs reflect my life. and each day there is a most suitable song for that day, or in some period. king of fools really fits me today

If what I feel is the only truth
And what I give out will make up what I'll receive
Can I leave behind my naivete of youth?
Will I be crucified for wanting to believe?
I believe

this just made my day. what i do will have an impact later, and i did something that will have a big impact in my life not a long time ago, and i think how'd that decision result. i tried to believe it's the best, but somehow i am really worried, so it's like i am crucified by what might came before me later

and in more general term, i think "more" really apply to 90% of humanity just look at this part:

More, just to be sure
I got what I wanted, so naturally I want more
What I paid for, entertain me now
All I want is more, cos I like it
Too good to let it go, keep it coming
Cos I want more, cos I'm not sure
What I really wanted, so all I want is more

this just "hit the right button" for me and it reminded me of greed

the lyrics is what keep me listen to their music, and it's strengthen by the beautiful melodies and marko's voice. everytime i listen to a song, even it's a same song, the meaning can be slightly different. and they're the only band who able to make me cry just from hearing a line or two

The song that best represents my personality and how I feel is probably Carnival of Rust, but I feel the best when listening to Locking Up the Sun.

uhh... Clevermind was so true for me in December. I should've spoken up more often but now it's too late. :(

The moments gone, there's no surrender
Forever now unsaid
The words that might've warmed December
Cos it's all inside your head
Like fragments of a dream you remember

Everytime, I listen to this song, I imagine Marko serenading me with it! :D
It has been written for me, i am a mystery , IMPOSSIBLE to unravel :)

For me it would be Carnival of Rust because I often feel like the mistakenly overlooked party.

Clevermind

the lyrics just suited what happened to me today

"The moments gone, there's no surrender
Forever now unsaid
The words that might've warmed December"

well, in fact, i said something that would make december warmer, or colder

"cos it's all inside your head"

it's all just inside MY head

"Staring at the ceiling from my bed
I thought I'd earned a chance or few
Thought I'd be paid in due
Time isn't made for waiting
Past isn't worth debating"

literally i was thinking while staring to the ceiling laid on my back, i decided waiting won't solve any problems, so i decided to talk my problems off. it seems most of my burdens have been lifted from my shoulders and yes, i agree completely past isn't worth debating, but it's important to learn from past's mistake

"Feeling like a fool again"

i feel like a fool again today :P

"Just need a new direction
a new beginning , a new beginning
I can't hold back and I can't hold on
It's all about gratification
See me running, see me running"

i need to change my view, no matter what. i have to banish all negative thinking or at least hold them off as much as i can. before, i was running from my troubles, and don't have the guts to face it.

now POTF is some kind of prophet / messiah for me, why their lyrics are just SO DA*M ACCURATE!!!

Last week was all about Everything Fades. I wish this one person had said something exactly like that to me, although I forbade them to tell me they're sorry. Today, however, Change puts perfectly into words how I feel about that person, and, more importantly, the group we both belong to.
Next autumn most likely all of my friends end up in different schools, and possibly even in different cities, and especially since some of these people have already distanced themselves a lot in the past 3 years, I'm afraid they will distance themselves even more, and that there'll be even more escapees.
I'm scared. And tired. And anxious. And sorry for ranting here. I just had to vent this out somewhere, especially since these friends of mine understand me so badly.

I wish I could be more positive about changes, and worry less.

I'm not sure how I've managed to overlook Heal My Wounds for so long. Amazing track.

It would be Overboard. I don't really relate to the lyrics, but the music holds something special within it for me.

Today I'm the beginning of Dawn:

When darkness is no less than everything you've built become undone
There's no fight and no flight, disaster leaves your passion overrun

And I'm hoping to get on to here:

It's time to let go, it's time to carry on with the show
don't mourn what is gone, greet the dawn

and here:

A new light is warm, shining down on you after the storm
Don't mourn what is gone, greet the dawn

But it probably won't happen for some time. So in the meanwhile, Maybe Tomorrow Is A Better Day.

Maybe tomorrow is a better day

"I'd stay the hand of god, but the war is on your lips
How can I brace myself for razor blades on whips
When everything with meaning is shattered, broken, screaming
And I'm lost inside this darkness and I fear I won't survive..."

today's King of Fools:

this whole paragraph explain what i feel
If what I feel is the only truth
And what I give out will make up what I'll receive
Can I leave behind my naivete of youth?
Will I be crucified for wanting to believe?
I believe

and then it goes here:

And if we don't worry about a thing
Will we be sorry when the rain is falling again
And what does it matter
If fortune should favor
It's never the final amen

I think Carnival of Rust and Psychosis. The first reminds me of how I let love disappoint me, and the second reminds me of my fears and of my thoughts.
But all of the songs, I think, have an element that I can relate to.

Fragile. it's just... just like about me... There are days when Fragile makes me cry so hard, that I can't breathe. I'm scared, I feel lost very often and...I'm just alone with all my feelings. I'd die to have that special person who would be around me, no matter what will happen. But...life is brutal, people are cruel (for me), and I just hide all emotions inside of me - it makes me become (paradoxally) more numb... -.-
