Thank you Snow and Lana and everyone else in advance. In case you are wondering, I have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and I had a heart attack on Monday. Im alive and well here and expect to be transferred to a Hospital in Manhattan (New York Presbyterian to be exact.) where talks of surgery is going on. Once again, i'd like to thank all of you and i hope to be back on my feet in no time.

Edit: hospital food isnt as bad as i thought it would be, but eating grilled cheese sandwiches everyday isnt good either. :roll:

I've been in ICU waiting room area for my grandma the past three days here where I live as well. This has been a nightmare for my family, myself especially because I feel so close with her. I have been living a nightmare with my family because she has been the head of my family for generations. One thing that has been helping me is POTF, especially "Where Do We Draw The Line" because it has been helping soothe my soul during all of this, but I still feel so numb with everything. It's so hard not too, but my point is I have some very important people to me who have been through serious heart issues and worse, and I may not know you victor, but I will keep a thought of prayer for you, God bless you! The mind is a powerful tool, so keep the faith hope and love! I keep telling my grandma to be the lion that she has always been, that it's just another mountain to climb, because even though she cannot respond, and things look worse then I have ever seen, I refuse to give up hope, because even when we meet in eternity one day after as well, the dawn is always there for us, living or the afterlife, the glory and pure love always status with us, that is our true strength..

once again thank you guys. I am currently in my 3-4 day stay in ICU. they already transferred me to new york city and I have a beautiful view of the skyline and the Empire State building. (Hopefully will take pictures) Im just waiting for the weekend and getting ready for the surgeons on Monday. From what i am told, surgery is a must at this point to change my defibrillator but no word yet on the major surgery. Im spending my time with my brothers and other family and listen to POTF songs anyway I can. Im really not nervous to whatever happens. Im really only worried about missing school. Anyway, thanks guys for all your support and I know Ill be ok. I'll try to keep you posted anyway I can because I dont have a laptop with me and we'll see what happens.

Ladies and Gentlemen! I am back and alive and kicking! I spent 8 days in the hospital and just came home yesterday to a surprise party thrown by my older bros.

No operations were necessary and they just changed my medication. Unfortunately, being in the hospital, I was infected by the Rotavirus. I blame the hospital food. Anyway, other than severe diarrhea, I am a-ok. In a couple of weeks however, I must return to get the surgery to replace my defibrillator but that should be no problem. Thank you guys for all your support and I'm glad I'm safe and sound back home! :lol:
