What is your LEAST favorite PotF-song?

Frankly i was stumped to see such a topic!! :shock:

But as i read thru some of the replies and posts i found even i had some least fav songs of my fav band..! :oops:

Now, i find Dawn, Desire and Seek You Out a little too boring to listen to. After really awesome songs like Carnival of Rust and War, and even soft slow tracks like Sleep and Stay, these 3 irk me out i think..!

Don't wana sound too rash now.. But then i find that every good band or artiste have their slightly average lyrics, beats and tunes.. maybe it is to balance the extremely popular songs ...!! Newton's 3rd law at work probably.. every good song is balanced with an equally less good [not 'bad' ok] song..!

I like your answer! Since I have been introduced to POTF about January of this year (dang I hate it when I miss out on the earlier times of a band or singer I like! But I especially feel sad about missing out on the years I missed listening to POTF) and I of course have all the cds.

Each day there is a song or songs that either I feel echo(es) my day and I also have some songs that I like to listen to that day more than others because they make me feel better.

There are no songs I think of as least favorite. This is the only band that has songs that change in meaning for me depending on the day. I think that is why I love POTF so much

Someone Special or 15 Min Flame, Maybe SS. It is a great song but when I'm not on an emotional mood and instead wanna rock it just sounds too sappy. I like the melody though. At first 15MF was the most boring song of TT for me but today I like it a bit more.

CoR: Sorry go 'Round
TT: Smoke & Mirrors

Those are my least favorite songs but I still cant get Sorry go 'round. Its a little bit too repetitive. The others I'm starting to listen to again and hopefully jam out to them!!

It is surely a question of personal musical tastes the best thing of the world is that we are not all the same, I can say that I like many bands since I do listen with pleasure most of their songs, but so far there are only the Poets of the Fall and James Blunt of which I can't find a single song I like least or I dislike.
To me it works like that, if I love the lyrics, if they are speaking to my heart and reaching those deep part of the soul I already am in the good way to possibly like the song, if the melody then matches the harmony of the lyrics, then I am addicted irreversibly.
I think that the ability of the Poets of the Fall is just that reaching my soul and completing with the right melody...the same happens with James Blunt for example and very few others

Okay, don't hate me, but I've got a couple that I don't so much care for. I still like the songs, and I still LOVE the Poets, but these are just a couple that aren't my favorites.

I think my least favorite song is "Overboard" off Signs of Life. Something about the vocals annoys me, I think it's that fake-CD-skipping thing they do. I love Marko's voice, don't cut it off!!

I'm also not a huge fan of "Desire" off Carnival of Rust, just coz I'm not a fan of vocals-plus-acoustic-guitar music. I like the Poets' theatrical music the most, so this one just doesn't fit for me. I think it's a nice song, just not as much to my taste.

Also, it might sound weird, but I actually don't care much for "Dreaming Wide Awake" off Twilight Theater. I feel like that song was made for the purpose of being a single, and they wanted to make sure it sounded like the more theatrical songs they're known for, but it didn't quite make it.

So yeah...don't hate me!! PotF for life!!!

it's quite interesting that how different the musical tastes are and it's also interesting that some of the songs (like COR,LUTS) are rarely(perhaps never!) mentioned among the least favorite songs :roll:

And then there are songs that I like less than the others, but still I like them

When I first listened to "Late Goodbye" in the credit of "Max Payne 2",I felt like the singer was holding my heart so tight that I couldn't breathe for a long time....
And in COR,when the "Don't Walk Away" part came,I felt tears on my cheeks......
Late Goodbye & Carnival Of Rust,they are the part of my heart.
But;Lift,Sleep,Fire,Maybe Tomorrow Is A Better Day,Gravity,Diamonds For Tears,Passion Colors Everything,Clevermind,War,Change,Rewind.....
They always make my day!!!!

It's hard for me to state which is/are my least favourite. I like all of them, but I'm pretty sure there are a few that I skip more than others. Hmmm... I think I'm going to have to get back to you on that one.

The only PotF-song I really don't like is Where Do We Draw the Line. I just never somehow got it. Fragile is a song that I tend to skip, and so is Heal My Wounds. I prefer more energetic songs.

They're all great, but I listen to some a lot less often than others. I guess I would say Gravity.

As a side note, the music video for Diamonds for Tears just seems really... different than the other MV's. And by 'different,' I mean 'low production and cheesy.' But, hey, just my opinion.

IT'S HARD. I LOVE ALL OF THEIR SONGS. *DEEP BREATH* ok...so maybe there were a few songs that needed time for me to get used to. The first time I heard "More" I didn't quite like it. I think I'm used to it by now.............does that count?? :shock:

On SOL it's Don't mess with me
on COR Fire, Sorry Go Round, Gravity, Desire and Delicious
on RR it's More and Psychosis and on TT I adore every song.
I also didn't like Can you hear me but now it's starting to grow on me.
