Oh no! I know you've been really looking forward to it... :/ Isn't there anything you can work out? Maybe you can still make it if the exam's not too early in the morning or something? Though I don't really know what the situation you're in is.

yes, I've been really looking forward to it ._.
too bad the exam is in the morning... and in Pisa. While the concert is in Milan: unless teleportation becomes available in the very next weeks, it's gonna be quite hard :(

And I can't skip it, because it's a big one and the next session will be in June (which also means I must pass it: you don't want to miss a gig for an exam, and then fail at it :| - no no, I must not even think of this :!: )

becoming anxious? me? absolutely yes '_'

Ah well it's the old "I think you photoshopped your pic" thing. Damn if I could do that Stef I would have made myself look like Jennifer Aniston! :shock:

@Lisa

Aw sorry my friend! Don't those schedule changes come about when you really want to do something great! I hate that! Sorry :(

Well, students fail classes all the time... Be it not being able to prepare well enough, or the teacher making a bad surprise by preparing an amazingly hard exam, or an exam overlapping with big gigs you don't wanna miss... :|

:roll:

I don't want to be a horrible influence, but if it's a class you can make up for later that will not cause any of your other studies to delay... Well, you know. :| But of course it's your decision to make. If they're coming for a gig once, odds are they'll come again. :)

Really sad to hear, Lisa. :( I for myself wouldn't miss an important exam, even though it would be for my most favorite band/actor/whatever. Without sounding too much "Daddy"-like, the satisfaction of taking and passing (hopefully) and exam when you had the chance is way higher and longer lasting (in fact it could pay for whole life) than the satisfaction of a gig that lasts something like 45-60 minutes.

Plus, in my case I wouldn't probably be able to fully enjoy the gig with the fact in mind I missed an important thing for the gig. That's probably just me, though. ;)

Anyways, hope you'll manage to see them soon!

whoa, I didn't think I'd arise such a talk about this :shock:

Thank you for the wise words Daddy Alph :roll: :D
Right now I don't really feel like an exam gives more satisfaction etc: it's just that I have no choice. But I see your point :) (being stuck unable to do anything at uni for 4 months wouldn't be so satisfactory either :| ).

I hate posting here but I am really sad about something.

I think I messed up a friendship or lost one that is/was very important to me. I don't know how much chance I have at getter it back, maybe none, and it's very likely my fault. Too difficult to explain; plus I just wanted to write it sown since it's difficult to talk about.

@Snow

You will find a way to get it back, Snow. You told me the time heals and you were right, so give your friend some time.

And you can have what you want if you want it like you need to breathe...

*Hugs* :)

@Lisa, redbossfan and Anna, thanks you guys and it's ok now :) . I think it's really great to see that even though I felt like I really screwed something up, I had you guys and seeing your sweet responses makes me realize your friends, if they are really your friends, will be there for you...........even if you do screw stuff up :) . Fortunately everything was ok.

@Half Light I am so super sorry if I brought up some hurtful feelings :( . *Hugs* I hope there are still many bright friend stars in your universe :) .

Not sure exactly why I'm feeling sad. Well, for one thing, I can't stop coughing and it hurts...bleh...stupid flu virus. I'm not even sure I have the flu. Whatever it is, it's been bothering me for a week and it's still not gone. :x

I'm suffering severe seasonal depression at the moment and it really seems to be taking a toll on my physical health as well as emotional/mental. I just want spring. I imagine many others are feeling the same way right now.

I've been bedridden for three days...so maybe that's why I'm feeling kind of sad. Hm... Also I'm missing lots of people. And I need someone to talk to. Haha I feel kind of pathetic right now... :(

@emeraldincantations - Aww, that doesn't sound all too good. I wish you a better health, and better feelings within the upcoming season as well. And I can really understand you, lying in bed for days can get your mood really down. So don't loose hope and don't drown in frustration, as soon as you'll breathe some fresh air again, the good feelings are suddenly back in no time, I'm sure! :)

As for me... I don't know, I'm not really sad, but for some reason really pissed of these days. Not with anyone certain, most of all with myself, probably. I'm not sure. It's just I'm having the chance to change my life these days, a bit more at least, into a surely happier way but I'm still not sure if I want it, and I keep changing my mind all the time about it, and the result is always so different that it confuses me even more.
It's just... I don't know. Stupid teenager stuff I think. I'm hoping it will change and cool down a bit when I'm in Finland, hopefully into a better way. But it could make everything more difficult too, or even ruin it. Even though I'm sure if I expect nothing negative from my year abroad, nothing like it will happen. A bit like that philosophy from that book "The Secret", you know :mrgreen:
If I could only make up my mind. Or be more able to figure out what my heart and my mind tell me. Or look into the future. *sigh* I don't know.

I did something I shouldn't have done... I'm glad I did it because I really enjoyed it, but I regret it in the same time...

Well, I'm sad because I have the feeling that I have missed an exceptional gig today in Moscow, so unique... It's so frustrating when you know that you could have been there if only you weren't living in a country so far away, if you had more money, more free time... Maybe someday... :(

DanceOfFlame: i felt that too. for now it seems impossible to attend potf gigs for me, since i live pretty far away from europe but i believe someday i'll able to meet potf and see them with my own eyes, and there's always hope. remember : in emptyness, there's a solution

so cheer up :D
