I heard Euphoria on radio today. It's a great song :)

I am in love with Phoenix Effect's newest cd!!! Can't stop listening to it! I am trying to think of one song I love more than the others, but I can't seem to do that since I love them all!

Maria and I went to Jyväskylä to see Phoenix Effect and oh man, what a night it was! There was magic in the air and the guys were in flames! :D It was one of the best gigs ever! <3 They played all the songs from their latest album and four songs from Cyanide Skies: Hey You, Broken Promises, Magic and King See No Evil. It felt really good to hear Magic because it is one of my favorite PE songs! And Maria had an epiphany, she really lost it but in a good way! :D No worries mate, I know how you feel, I have already had mine! :D

I got it yesterday (digital copy only unfortunately). Here's what I think: The album is great!
I really like Black Art, A Light to Guide, Into the Flame. All songs reviewed separately are nice, but if we look at it as a complete album - it lacks balance. This is not that bad actually, after all we don't speak for POTF here. But I really would like to have some peaceful songs too. INHO, Cyanide Skies was better album, had great balance and melody, but Phoenix Effect is not bad/weak/boring album at all. Just compilation of awesome songs. Looking forward for Album 3!

I think that Mask of Sanity is a masterpiece: it's kinda flirtatious and genius! :D I LOVE IT! <3

Strangely, their myspace player doesn't play anything for me. Where else to take a listen?

BenAkenobi, well, if you don't like it, no one makes you to drink :lol: As for me, I like Janne's voice. And Anton's... And Lauri's. Does Pyry sing, btw? :D

Attention Facebook members!!

The page 'We love Finland' has started a competition - which is the coolest finnish band. There are 19 bands. They created new pages for each band. I suggested POTF as the coolest one and I became the admin of the page.

I would like to ask all of you to like my page and spread the world to help POTF to win the competition. :P :roll:

From here http://www.recordshopx.com/artist/phoenix_effect/phoenix_effect/#cd (they're reliable and their shipping costs are low enough). I guess the album is also on iTunes :)

@Lisa

Yes ma'am they are on iTunes! That's where I get all my music now. Great price too!

@SMILEY

I think I have not only joined but added my vote for POTF but PE would be next for me :wink: . I will go and check to be sure on facebook after I leave here.

@LanaVdV

I also love Janne's and Lauri's vocals! And I am curious as well about whether or not Pyry sings.

Janne's vocals sound like a rocker's, not hard rock, alternative, not classically trained like Marko's but Janne has his own style and that's how it should be. Not everyone will like it just like everything else in life :wink: .

Be patient. These people are not full time musicians, they have jobs or are not full time in this band, not to mention that they have lives. It's not as if they have someone who takes care of the website for them, so I would suppose that other things are more important than typing lyrics.

And if you bought the album, how come you do not have the lyrics? They certainly are in the booklet that came with my CD.
