At first, I thought Poets had referenced the Alan Wake-dlc, but the dlc will be released in around two weeks and as it's something brand new, it's either a completely new game, or Microsoft has greenlighted Alan Wake 2 (which Remedy said they would love to do).

Wait and see, I'm just glad the guys are writing music again and hope they have fun doing it and are able to come up with something ear-pleasing (which is what they always do :D )

I think it will be a brand new song for Guitar Hero

Awww I would like to play Alan Wake, but I don't have Xbox360 :( I got PS3 for Christmas present last year, so I can't have a new console for a while, I have them too much already :P Four actually.

***Spoiler Alert***

At the end of the second downloadable content when Alan Wake was writing on the typewriter, I always thought Alan Wake should write about partnering up with Alex Casey (Max Payne) and destroy all the Taken.

I've been meaning to buy this game ever since I learned Poets did a few songs and the credits music. Not to mention it seems like a legitimate game in itself.

Thank you Poets for the great song "The poet and the muse", best shit I've heard in years... Can't wait to buy your albums! Now to my question.... Who produced this song? The sound is just awsome... Must say I really fell for the old gods of valhall 70's thing all he way to the guitarsolo... I really need to know!

now that Alan Wake has been out for a year now, lets all cross out fingers for Max Payne 3. Heard its in development by Rockstar games.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_6_XrZ3KzM

But max seems so old, and from other infos it looks like Max is in Brazil. Don't know if its gonna live up to the first 2. :(

Unfortunately, POTF have very little (or none) chance to participate in MP3. It will be developed by people not from Remedy (not even in the same country), so if POTF have something in it, it will be because some of the big bosses had sudden act of nostalgia.

All POTF & Old Gods of Asgard songs are produced by the band themselves, with Captain mainly responsible for the recording & mixing stuff.

Cool, That's quite impressive... Bin looking for someone who can produce that old school sound for a while now... Do you know if he's interested in working with other artists as an producer/Mixtec?

This game makes me want an xBox really badly.

I love the story so far, been spoiling the whole thing for myself by watching the 'Let's Play's on youtube. . . Urgh.
Such a unique story. Though I know I might be chickening away alittle. But I can't miss that if I had my chance to obtain an xBox then I'd probably go for that game.

Very unlikely, as Microsoft served as the publisher. However, Remedy already hinted at a sequel which might be coming to PS3, as well, but I would not bet on it. Besides, Xbox360's are pretty cheap by now.

Good news everyone! :)
The next Alan Wake title will be revealed on monday! Eurogamer.net tels us:
Teaser images are scheduled to pop up on GameInformer first, ahead of full reveals at the annual VGA event on 10th December.

It has been said earlier that it won't be Alan Wake 2 or DLC. So what you think it will be?
My money is on a prequel, possibly about Tom Zane and Barbara or Thor and Odin. I am hoping for the latter :)

Have you noticed that the hotel in the background looks like the one in "Late Goodbye" video? The signs looks very similar (except the name)
