Love is a word most everyone tosses around everyday even though some don't know the meaning of the word.

Love, much like people, comes in many different forms, shapes and sizes.

@Snow: I guess you read only the capital letters of my post. My point was that loving people increases multiplying and prevention of diseases and the cures for them. This leads to more and more people, which leads to over-population so that mother Earth can't possibly keep us alive anymore. That's why our species is going to become extinct. I haven't seen the future but it is a threat. We all will die anyway regardless of the reasons.

Do we have to take this topic so seriously? Major parts of my post were humour. Are we supposed to just praise the love bliss? Is this the official syrup thread?

All I was trying to do was to point out a different side of a phenomenon we call love with my weird ironic humour.

I guess we are just dying to live or dying to love or loving to die or living to love or living to die or loving to live... Who knows?????

Love is a feeling process, not a thinking process. Get out of your ego and into your heart.

Before, I though that to love is the greatest thing ever. Now I know that to be loved is actually a bit close to heaven.

To love someone means to give this person power. From there on, they have the power to hurt you. If you allow that depends on your trust; if they use this power depends on their character, their strength and if they're aware of the responsibility.

Also, you may learn that you cannot make someone love you; all you can do is being someone who can be loved... the rest is up to them.

Reality or myth?

Love has very little if nothing to do with the ego, because real love is entirely selfless. It is so much bigger, and far more compelling, and indescribably more powerful than just widdle ol' me. It can scare me, but really I'm just happy to be a part of it.
