*spoilers*
I hope in some of the future episodes Alan will write into the story and Alex Casey (bring him to life). It will be good to see the good old Max in the hands of Remedy, even for a short moment. Plus he could bring some good action sequence back into the game.

So, what do you think about the link on Twitter? I guess war is coming! And it does look promising :)

I also think this might be from the video for War. Especially with all the night shoot talk Poets twittered a while ago :D

Is it only me who thinks that the beginning of the music heard in the background is indeed the beginning of War? Then again, maybe I only hear it because that is what I want it to be.

Indifferently what it is (a movie or the prelude to the War song), it looks very promising 8)

Here's a cute little comic strip I created with the help of mariamus:

Wake Be Nimble, Wake Be-Oops...

Good one Jax!

Alan is _indeed_ the biggest untrained lazy ass game character I have ever played with.

Haha. He sort of reminds me of Harry Mason. He was the main character in the original Silent Hill game. He, too, was a writer, and had horrible endurance (never took long before you ran out of breath and had to stop to catch it).

I know exactly who Harry Mason is! I love the SH series and can see why you would see the similarity. :D

I have a few more ideas for these, so stay tuned!

You told about the idea before, but now seeing it as a comic strip makes it even more hilarious. :D

I'm in love with Alan Wake (not the guy, the game)! This is the first time when I have gone completely gaga over a game, although I have played computer games since I was a kid.
I'm only half way through the third chapter but I was hooked right from the start.

Bright Falls was a perfect start to it, what an awesome idea. It is really really creepy and a lot like Twin Peaks in atmosphere. It could have been a full lenght tv-series!

Apart from the obvious (the story, characters, fighting with light and scenery) I love the radio- and tv-shows. I always stop to listen the songs, a great selection (Poe <3). Lords and Ladies was a hilarious tv-show in Max Payne and I am glad that the tradition continues in Night Springs, only more creepy than hilarious. I think it is also a homage to the Twin Peak's Invitation to Love, a fictional soap opera that commented Twin Peaks itself. And as a Lovecraft fan, the references to Cthulhu Mythos are also nice.

The achievements are cleverly named and in one of the manuscripts there was a nice salute to Poets of the Fall and Max Payne. We have the LCE-version of the game, so the experience doesn't end when the game does. And as I am now playing in the normal difficulty, there is still hard and nightmare to complete. And achievements to hunt.

Only downside is that there isn't an co-op option. Oh, I admit that the story is such that it would be difficult to incorporate another character, but since neither me nor my boyfriend want to see spoilers, we have to play while the other one is away from home or doing something else in the other room.
(oh, and the driving. I don't like that.)

All in all the game takes my breath away, figuratively and literally. More gushing probably ensues when I am done with the game.
