I have to post here, because i was browsing through this thread today, looking for new bands. And i see a post recommending Happoradio, among others. I listened to them on Spotify, and i am TOTALLY IN LOVE!!! Oh oh oh! Thanks thanks thanks goes to mmh92 or falcon, they both came up in that thread when i searched just now. :)

Well, my favorite bands then. There's no particular order, except the first one. I listen to a lot of music, and constantly change what i listen to. But Porcupine tree has been "first on my list" for a long time, and always will. The first place is shared with Poets of the fall, even though RR was not as amazing as i expected from the poets (my demands are high, :D ). Yep, i can do that! I decide the rules, . Well, thats enough. Here they are. Maybe someone discovers something new...

1. Porcupine tree

Sunrise Avenue
Opeth
Matchbox Twenty and Rob Thomas's solo albums (these counts as one!)
Nightwish (with the new vocalist, they sound perfect)
Christian Kjellvander (he needs to get his shit together though, latest album is not up to par)
Pure reason revolution
Riverside and Lunatic Soul (LS is the singer's solo album, those count as one as well!)
Entwine
Hem (no, that's not HIM, although i like them, too)
The Pineapple Thief

Well, that's 11. So sue me... :?

I wanted to say Kent, but their last two albums have not been good at all... Du och jag döden is still THE best album in swedish, and one of my top ten albums overall. It is genius. But they lost it (the rest of sweden don't seem to think so, though).

There are many more bands i listen to at the moment, but those are more consistent than others. I return to those more than others.

Alright, take care all!

Thumbs up for Ayreon and Dream Theater. The Human Equation is one of my favourite albums ever, and Octavarium and The Count of Tuscany are two of my favourite songs.

Mine is, and has been for as long as I can remember, Porcupine Tree.

Apart form Poets of the Fall, eh? Well my first place band is actually Poets of the Fall, but I suppose I also have other bands worth mentioning. ;)

Kamelot - Love 'em. And it helps that their lead singer is from Norway. ;)
Avenged Sevenfold
Comma
Dream Theater
Evanescense
Hinder
Korpiklaani (Finnish folk metal band! :D)
Linkin Park
Metallica (I may just very well be one of the very few that seems to really enjoy "new Metallica")
Smile Empty Soul
System of a Down
Tømmermenn (Norwegian heavy rock band)

And, although not a band in itself, I'd like to include two artists that create truly awesome music together:
Mary Elizabeth McGlynn & Akira Yamaoka
Their work can be found within the Silent Hill games, and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is sort of exclusive to the Silent Hill universe. Absolutely splendid music, and absolutely worth checking out. ;)
