i suppose it would fit into the story line, but at the same time give you a very epic feeling while your playing. something that the lyrics and melody are as intense as the game your playing. i can't wait to hear how "War" fits with Alan Wake!

i don't think there is any other way to describe their music than "cinematic rock". the phrase really hits the nail on the head.
since it's hard to define their music, they might as well choose an any word they like and call it that. Cinematic rock would sound quite cool :P

There was one Alan Wake trailer in which the camera flew by a bridge, and there was an epic melody playing in the background.. Cinematic rock :P

Here is what I found today:

No official word on that, but it seems POTF is going to perform at Saint Petersburg in Russia on 25 March. Yay! Probably the album will be released shortly before that on 17th.

This doesn't look like a "real" logo to me. Clearly u can see it is tilted TUF cover with lots of red. Who knows...

And it was secretly snuck into the POTF shop! Oh my, what are we to do!? :o

Nahh, seems real to me :) And let's face it the singles usually aren't given as much attention as the albums. D4T went a lot in the same style as the RR album whereas TUF had a more inventive design but in the same set of colors and so on. ^^

Dreaming Wide Awake. They nailed it again. Sounds perfect and a bit more back towards the old style in my ears

You can tell the style by the title? I'm impressed. ;)
I really don't care that much what the cover looks like, as long as it is a real single that I can hold n my hands and put on my shelf and not just a download (yeah, I'm old-fashioned). I like the cover though. :)

Strange that DWA's name is more suit to game's name but looks like 'War' had its potential to be selected for Alan Wake :?
