~~CARNIVAL OF RUST DARK MIX~~
As i m a DJ.....i always thought of remixing any of their songs......the song is perfect already.....so there's no way i m trying to improve the song......m just using my creativity......& sharing this with all you people......... This is my own remix of Carnival of Rust...which i named as Dark Mix.....do leave comments buddies.....

strange but is acceptable as a remix. anyway, how did you remixed it?

A proper remix needs a permission from the band and/or record company, and the original separate studio tracks (usually vocals) from the song. This is mainly a drum loop played over the song, and I don't think you have a permission from the band? It's fine to do these things at home and play to your friends, but not acceptable to release on the net.

^^^ i already mentioned....there's no way i am trying to improve the song or anything like that....i am a big fan of the band & just thought to show you my creativity...i don't earn through my songs.. nor do i sell the songs.....

POTF_Admin, remix competitions are quite popular nowadays, why don't you arrange one? Since there are quite a few news from Poets now, it'll be quite refreshing and interesting for people and POTF themselves, maybe even inspiring.

Agreeing with Lake, it's an interesting idea. Reminds me of the TUF music video shot by fans, although I guess that's easier to take care of copyright-wise and so on.

@ thepunisher65: If an admin post pointing you the right direction makes you conclude never to write in this forum again, you're taking it a bit too seriously. ^^

[b]One word i.e. Creativity, which is present in all of us in different ways/ forms and aspects.. Some may like to show it and some may not.. one word i.e. Competition, which is felt by all of us in different ways/ forms and aspects.. Some may like to face it and some may not.. Similarly, POTF has a lot of Competitors and they are the ones who wanted to face it, hence came up with the Creatively amazing track: Carnival of Rust.. Similarly, thepunisher65 has a lot of Competitors and again, the one who wants to face it, hence came up with the Creativity: Carnival of Rust Dark Mix by DJ KA.. I think we should appreciate the Creativity keeping the Competition in our minds...
Now, looking at the whole scenario from the Legal point of view.. authorization by the appropriate personnel is a must..
Yet again, looking at it from the Layman point of view.. how do we seek the Authorization? This is a small question yet a BIG one which is faced and felt by all of us if not most of us..
