Sorry for the double post, but I have a great new gig in my 2009 schedule (actually I have only one for now :D )...

.... on July 26th I'm going to see John Fogerty in Lucca (this year they have some interesting artists at the Lucca Summer Festival  ).

Next sunday the Metropolis festival in Rotterdam, which is free! :)

With:
Johnossi(!! 8) ), Baddies, Go Back To The Zoo, Elle Bandita, The Asteroid Galaxy Tour and many more. Really good names, all of them at least, especially for a free festival, so i'm quite excited.

At sunday I went to a great free festival called Metropolis in Rotterdam.
I saw:

Golden Silvers
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour (great! an happy, energetic festival band)
The Soft Pack
I kissed Charles
Mdungu
Rolo Tomassi (way too loud and screamo, so after laughing for a few minutes we went to-->
Dio & The Madd (some rapper ft some rock band, didn't expect too much of it, but live it was just very energetic, really great!)
Johnossi that 2 people can make such a sound, they best performance of the day and the reason why I came to this festival. And I wasn't disappointed! My favourite 'band' of this moment, love their sound :)

Btw not that the bands where I didn't write something about were bad (except for Golden Silvers) but just I'm too lazy to write about everything and the things where I díd write about were really great :D

Masters of Rock was the only one I managed to go to. :D The highlights of all the bands I saw were Eluveitie, Tiamat, Stratovarius, Edguy and Audrey Horne.

I can finally add something to this page! :P

August 5th, 2009 Phoenix Effect at On the Rocks

Great place, terrific atmosphere. I really liked the warm-up band. Two Timers is a Brit band that played Southern bluesy rock. They were really very good.

PE had phenomenal energy and the music was really awesome...too bad I couldn't hear Janne at all. Everything else overpowered his voice, and it was really frustrating because you could see he was really giving everything he had. :( By the end it was slightly more balanced and I could catch at least every 3rd syllable. Oh well. It was great to meet them and say hello. :D

updating upcoming gigs:

November 25th... Sonata Arctica!!!! <3<3<3
I can't wait, I'm so excited *__* (I can't believe and I won't believe it until I'm there and they're on stage.. a part of me wouldn't even want to say I'm going, just in case; another part of me is telling anyone :P )

one more, though I'm not exactly as thrilled about it: Nov27th, Paolo Nutini (some friends were going, and asked me to join them)
