Request Poets song on Rock Band (Lift now available!)

I think it's a shame that Poets of the Fall so far hasn't been featured in either Guitar Hero or Rock Band. My dream would be for Lift to be featured so I can at least in some way beat that wicked solo in the end. Follow the link if you want to request a song for Rock Band, I don't think Guitar Hero has the possibility of requesting songs.

This is a democracy people, let us use it and speak our mind. Which means if you disagree of course you should say that as well

good idea... I like playing rock band and I didn't know that people can request a song. I was really hoping to have LIFT in the game, so I' ll definitely ask for it

Just a small advertisement here - some of you may know an opensource alternative to GH/RB called Frets on Fire - it's free and can be played on keyboard. There is a forum dedicated to the game where lots of users post their own "fretted" version of songs. Among the thousands of songs I've found a 3 easily playable Poets's songs - Carnival of Rust, Locking Up the Sun and Diamonds for Tears. (and also two very hard, Lift and Late Goodbye). So anyone, who'd be interested, contact me for more info. Everything is legal of course, I won't send any .mp3 files or so, just fretted versions I found.

(I hope it's not against forum rules I've nothing to do with creators of the game (who are from Finland

), I just want to help those who're eager to play Poets's songs

Sorry, I'll want say king of fools but it's sure Carnival of Rust will be fun, but insn't really rock.
I think the most rock song is Lift.

Lift to me is a really uptempo song, not sure I would categorize it as rock though. But alas, Poets are hard to define in terms of genres.

Agreed, King of Fools would be fun as well

But consistency is the way to go, I think

Of course CoR(and no Cof) is a rock song, but I want say Lift is more real rock than Cor(Industrial Rock).
PS : Frets On Fire can be played with GH guitar.

I figured if someone who is able to contact the band can do so and tell them about this, there might be a good chance of getting what we want. (I for one would LOVE to see Lift on Rock Band).

Plus, the band can earn themselves a little extra cash too.

The band is aware of this.

As usual, it's just a matter of time and resources, but I'm sure they'll look into it more closely when RBN is online.

I've got to bump this topic. I just got Rock Band 2, and POTF would be a great addition to the game.

I requested Lift, Fire and Dreaming Wide Awake as I think they would suit the game best. I requested each separately, so they get the maximum of submissions.

Also, i think Rock Band Network works great at the moment, for example Amberian Dawn is going to put up their entire discography.

I REALLY hope we will see some Poets songs, i would love to play them!

I'd love to see either a "Guitar Hero: Poets of the Fall"-game or at least have plenty of their songs released on either (or both) Rock Band and Guitar Hero (they pretty much function the same way these days anyhow).

Guitar Hero: Poets of the Fall would be a great game. I already have GH: Metallica which was really an obligatory game for me to get since I've been listening to them ever since -99.
