As this forum is full of people from all around the world, I guess you guys can help me.
I need to translate "The Ice Harvest" to as many languages as posible.

So far:

English: The Ice Harvest
Spanish/Español: La Cosecha De Hielo

Please copy and paste the list and add your translation below it.

Thanks! :)

Erik

I'm afraid that the Finnish translation "Jää Sadonkorjuu" does not really mean a thing. Also, the name has already been translated officially as "Jäätävää satoa", which sounds just about right to me...

English: The Ice Harvest
Spanish/Español: La Cosecha De Hielo
Bulgarian/Български: Ледената Жътва / Ледена Реколта
Russian: Ледяной урожай
Finnish: Jäätävää satoa
Turkish: Buz Hasatı
Hungarian: A nagy kaszálás
Dutch: De ijs oogst
Italian: Il raccolto del gelo
Persian: Mahsoole yakh /محصول یخ
hebrew- katzir hakerach/ קציר הקרח
German: Die Eisernte (literal translation)
Slovak: Žatva ľadu

Thank you all again.

"Урожай" means something what was (or will be) born (e.g. quantity of wheat etc.) But "жатва" is an older word, so it has more interesting inflection. And it means the process of reaping (harvest) and the result. So it seems to me to be more correct though I don't know the original meaning of you phrase ;) You're welcome anytime!

Thank you.

This isn't about the movie, so don't worry about that.

Hey Sweeties!

I really need to get that sentence translated into the irish language.

"What have we done?"
Like... dramatically

Thanks!

In case you don't find any luck here (I know I can't help you with Gaeilge/Gaelic), you might want to check this out: http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com/ You have to register to the forum for free, but apparenly many people ask for English-Gaelic translations there (for example for tattoos) and other, helpful people with knowledge of Gaelic reply there.
Hope you get the translation you need somehow :)

I found a translated poem there with one stanza saying this:
What have we done to justify this?
And translated into Gaelic:
Céard a dhéanig muid le dearlaic réasún amhain do shiúd?

But I don't know how to cut off the "to justify this" in the Gaelic version.
