maybe skysport can use the song for a "promo" before the game or something like that... in football stadiums they always play some random music before the game..

Yep. The song will be used as "background music to an opener for the football match", whatever that means. :)

You probably won't hear PotF unless you get Sky Sports in Holland. I'm pretty it'll be used as a promo for the game as TheShield said.

They normally play some random crap before the match (when the TV is showing football studio and not the stadium) and The Stone Roses or Rocky theme when the teams come out.

it should be an opening theme.. maybe it' ll be a videoclip with the best images of the competition, and the song in background. they use to do it in the Italian SkySport before the match

In english:

Poets of the Fall will be played at ManU vs Inter-match

The music of a finnish band PotF will be played at a top-football match on wednesday. A song recorded by PotF is going to be played at a Master League match, in which ManU and a milanese team called Inter will meet.

PotF's recording of " You know my name", a James Bond song written by Chris Cornell, will be heard at the Old Trafford-stadium.

Both ManU and Inter are currently clearly leading their homelands' football leagues. Yleisradio (The finnish national radio) will not show wednesday's match from Manchester on the television.

Awesome, YKMN was used as the intro to the football program and then went on to be played in the stadium for a shortwhile.

Now I just have to figure out how to copy it across to my computer :P
