As for me, I'm a complete teetotaler for various reasons... so I didn't turn an alcoholic after my breakup, but rather a kind of psycho that wanders in the night without any purpose... but those times ended already.

I once woke up in Hoboken and barely remembered how I got there. I think that was prompted by a bad break-up. Last thing I remembered was sitting at Gold Bar in Manhattan and looking through the holes in the floor.

I like a nice cold beer almost every evening when I've finished my work for the day and it's time to relax.

I can also appreciate a good glass of wine, red or white depends on what I'm feeling like that day.

But my absolute favorite drink is whisky, single malt, aged 18 years. I'll drink it straight, on the rocks or with my coffee when I've had a rough day. It just relaxes me completely and when I've had a couple of drinks I'm everybodies pal and I'm up for anything.

Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with a glass of alcoholic drink every now and then if you can drink responsibly, hold your liquor and also don't get agressive, depressed or just a generally nasty person because of it,

Drinking when you're in a bad mood or sad because of something won't help, because as with any drug, alcohol (which is classified as a harddrug!) only amplifies the feelings you're having when you use it.

So if you're going to drink, drink to the good times and to your health!
