and what the hell is mona doin in the first film?

Why shouldn't she be there? She was in the first game. (Remember the girl who gave Max the whiskey that knocked him out? And the one who disappeared from the elevator in the end? That was Mona)
Or did you mean the first trailer?

Well, maybe he thought taking her clothes off...that definitely wasn't in the first game as far as I remember.... :? some "sort of it" was just in the second game  :D

Nice one....I like this one more than the first two...it looks the most game-like" of them all

But I'm still pesimistic about it... :(

Agree... This is the best trailer imho.
I think this movie has a huge potential, but while I'm really looking forward it I also fear they failed to represent the whole thing of max's asides...

btw i'll literally drag my friends to watch it

I've read a copy of the script, (i couldn't wait until the 17th so i kinda cheated) the naked woman isn't Mona it's her sister and the story between game and movie differs wildly. It's well written and I'm still going to see it but expect something simillar to Silent Hill where there were a lot of simillarities between the medium of the game to the movie, yet they were both very different.

what the hell is that freak doing there?
the trailer resembles a little of the game and more fiction than i expected.kinda weird

I watched this trailer
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=JboQmDIdK ... re=related
and i hoped to see some kind like a film noir - like the game was one. i dont know the first, because it's on a black list, but the 2nd max payne game is - you surely know it - a film noir story. one commented the video it is like the story in the first game.
i hoped to see an actor with an face which is more angular, like the ones from Sam Lake or Timothy Gibbs (but Timothy fitts more to max payne, i think). Marc Wahlberg's face is too round, he has hair, which's too brown and he looks too young. the pax panye from the games looks like a bit over 40. Marc Wahlberg looks like 35 or 37.
but when the movie is in the cinema i will watch it...

I'm afraid the closest you'll get to this production being a "Max Payne" film is a brief cameo by James McCaffrey.

Everywhere I looked (imdb, wikipedia) there was none of the roles had the name Vladimir Lem, and it didn't look like there was some sort of replacement, so yeah, he's not in the movie. A biiiig minus, even though I haven't watched it... I doubt they'll make a second one... How could they even cut him out? :(

The movie looked great, the plot was a bit messy, but I liked the dark atmosphere a lot. AND the afterparty rocked... :)

Just a few :) the lights were really poor since it was a parking hall, but... I might be updating the live section pretty soon.

This movie is going to be about atmosphere. It has been favorably compared to Nightwatch/Daywatch, which were great. I can't wait to see it so hopefully there will be a MP2 and then maybe...LG!?!?!?!?!?

C'mon, the guys so deserve this!!!

A parking hall secret gig? Great :)

I'm watching a video review from IGN, there are some extra scenes if you want to see them. Too bad critics seem to be bashing this movie. :?

Wherever Luke Morgan-Rowe is, he can be vindicated that his fan-made film would DEFINATELY have been better then this schlock that Fox has forced down our throats.
