I watched Moulin Rouge yesterday. I had never seen it before but everybody was saying it's bloody good. Well, it wasn't actually as good as I expected. Phantom of the Opera was better :)

Sounds like very serious movie.

I watched tonight "Dawn of the Dead". DivX. The subtitles was a little bit changed :? Very strange translation :? :? :?

Seen Spirited away?

Me thinks it's better. Both are masterpieces.

Oh yes I have...about 10 times and it is great, but somehow Mononokes gods and historical myths got to me more. And it has got more violent "undertone". Not as safe as Spirited Away.

Have you seen Metropolis? I know its not by Miyazaki but that is one great anime film 8) and definately not as 'safe' as spirited away, which I love i might add

Yes I have seen Metropolis also, but unfortunately there was a horrible english dubbing that ruined the whole movie for me. I have to go and beg my friend to lend it to me with proper japanese language and only english subtitles. Then maybe my opinion of that movie will improve ^-^

8) I saw Witchfinder General on Tuesday, it was quite good but not as good as Michael Reeves previous The Sorcerers. Too bas he commited suicide at the age of 25. He could have been one of hte giants.
