this thread is getting more publicity than i thought it would, anyway ....

i don't like moths, they creep me out to no end, even though i know they are not going to harm me, i just can't help me afraid of them, i think its got to do with the way they look, and the way they tend to hang around some light, sometimes i think that there are going to be a bunch of moths, thousands, even tens of thousands, swarming around the light bulb

That sounds familiar.
I can't stand the feeling of insects crawling on my skin. It's alright with ladybugs, but anything else just give me the creeps. I always try to kill or get rid ot them them asap then.

You can't be a POTF fan if you're scared of moths.

Hmm...I don't have anything really severe. I hate wasps, but living in the country, you deal with it. I do have one quirk, though. If I get one hand wet, I have to get the other one wet, or it bothers me.

I'm even more lucky than you, I'm allergic to wasps :P Can turn out pretty bad if I don't have my meds. Gotta get better at bringing them along I guess =)

And that water-hand-thing, doesn't that more qualify as a like, obsessive thought? Or whatever you'd call it...

you mean obsessive-compulsive disorder? the wet hand thing could count as that but its not really serious. You hear of these nut jobs that have bow six times everytime they see a statue of jesus or else the whole world stops.

maybe being a good swimmer made you aware of the dangers of diving in shallow waters, and that phobia manifested itself in becoming an irrational fear of diving under any circumstances?

just practicing for when im shrinking on super rich schizophrenics and drug addicts

I'm afraid of hysterically screaming and jumping fan girls. Does that mean I can't be a Poets fan either?

I'm only scared of dead people if they come mysteriously to life again. I'm an obsessive zombie-movie-watcher which has kinda led me to be afraid of zombies.

Otherwise I doubt dead people could do you much harm
