That's harsh, arum. He was probably good for nothing if he turned you down.

If you are not out of cash, maybe you should consider this:

Heath Ledger, one of my favourite actors, is dead. At the age of only 28... way too young to die. :( I can't believe it, he was such a great actor and a sweet young guy...

He might be but truthfully its no reason to spam the thread, he's been called on his mistakes lets all get back to what we should be typing... okay? At least he admitted he was kidding, no matter how damn stupid the comment was.

that is nothing to joke about, so what if he admitted he was kidding? he could have shut up in the first place. this sad is called ''the sad-thread'', not ''the let's joke in a stupid way-thread''

I agree. And as far as I know, that was about the reason this thread has been locked and deleted before. Twice, if I'm not mistaken

I sort of agree but its still not the "I'm gonna bitch and whine about a joking idiot" thread either.

That may be true, but such a comment can't be left unpunished! DMC was either stupid or thoughtless to write such thing. Cancer sure as hell is nothing to joke about! It's a terrible illness that for a lot of people cost their life, and that without them having a chance of surviving it. Don't joke about death or illness! If DMC (or anybody else, for that sake) doesn't know that yet, it might be time for him to learn!
A few people have written comments like this one before (granted, some of them were even stupider and more unforgivable!), and if I'm not completely mistaken, they were all banned.
Besides, to be honest, DMC pretty much proved fairy's statement to be correct at least a dozen times, this one counting for two...

Why don't we just skip talking about it and at least try to make this thread a serious place to post? Some people might want to tell some real stuff here, that they want feedback or comfort for, and they should be allowed to do so without having discussions like this in the middle of it.

Everyone's stated their opinion about that questionable post, now let's just move on.

I caused a traffic accident today. Good news is: Nobody was injured. Bad news is: My car probably is a total write-off. I don't think insurance will pay for the repair 'cause the car is 10 years old and it's value is/was about 3000 Euros... and I bet repairing it would cost more than 3500. If I'm lucky, I'll get around 2000 Euros from the insurance company, so all I need is someone who sells a car that's still okay at this price. Wish me luck, 'cause I'll need it.
But if my luck turns for the worse again, the driver of the other car will claim that some sort of back injury was cased by the crash and I'll have to pay. For a long time...

Ohh, sounds bad :( Good that you're ok!
I had the same situation 1 1/2 years ago, good for me that the other driver was well ok, just my car wasn't worth to repair :(

Thank goodness you're okay, Marv. Someone special must have sent a couple of angels to guard your way. I hope everything will work out fine with the other driver and getting a new car.

*healing pink hugs*
