There are also Apolayptica, The Rasmus. I think HIM is from Finnland too.

i adore finnish bands such as POTF, HIM, The Rasmus, and Sunrise Avenue... there are others that should be very good as well but as they play in finnish and i cant understand a word i cant say if theyre cool or not.... :?

You wanna loose all faith in humanity, take a look at the MTV top 20 artists. Fourteen black rappers in their bling-bling, three rock bands, and the rest are female pop singers like Alicia Keys, Rihanna, or Britney Spears. Yeah she hasn't done jack musically in years, but she still gets to be on MTV's top 20.

I don't know what it is with Scandinavians and their rock bands (seems kinda like everyone and their dog has a band up there), but I'm glad someone out there is still making Rock and Roll, because America kind of sucks at it right now.

I think that you can find some good American (alternative) rock bands. The mainstream stuff kinda sucks, but I know a few bands that are good. And they are all Americans. ;)
