We have had many of these threads. I was once a creator of one of these threads (that's actually quite sad). The sad part was that every one of them was locked because some people couldn't behave.

It's okay to BE sad. Sometimes life brings us down and that's normal. Wallowing in self-pity doesn't help. That's what these threads usually turn into.

I completely agree with da Gelly Queen. These threads turn into pity parties-which are no fun, despite the name. And Liz, Sadness doesn't have to be a part of normal life. Yeah, it's normal to be sad every now and again, but dwelling on it and thinking that this is all there is? Certainly not!
