well - as far as i understand you can install wordpress on your own server and so do not have to rely on an external service like blogspot which doesnt leave you independent as potf are =)

WordPress.org is a good choice, 'cos, like DU wrote, it gives you independence from other servers and it's really easy to use by not experienced users.

Geez people, it's really whatever! We are paying money for the potf-gst.de domain and we thought it's enough to have a short registered domain and not an 100MB server. Ours is only 1MB big and that's enough, so with our blog WE are "independent" in a way and don't have to check for our space all the time.

DerUnsympath: During your complaining (read: whining) you could have already requested POTF on German radio, start spending your time useful and talk to the hand! :roll:

i had a website with 500MB of space and some stuff like MySQL and such things. i dont' know how much you payed for you space per month, but if you want to know i can tell you the provider

I have lots of space on my own private websites/servers too, that's not the problem. But hey it's "only" a street team page and we leave it the way it is now. I think we really have to concentrate on higher things. Right?

I think that it´s time to remind some of the promoters and the festival organisers which bands they should keep in mind choosing the line-up for festivals like:

-Reeperbahn festival
-Hurricane Festival
-Berlin Festival

...and several others.

Edit: Just wrote a mail to YOU (Europe's biggest youth-fair). Tons of partners are radio stations from Berlin. Just write them a mail that you want POTF for this year!
