For those who didn't see it/or were unable to watch it on Finnish TV, here is the recording of Carnival of Rust performed at the Elämä Lapselle concert.

Please thank Mika for recording and PotF for performing :)

Awesome :D

I just finished watching. It's amazing. My favourite live-performence tied with their Shallow performance at Ylex Pop 05. :D

Yes, somehow he does, but his appearance scares me somehow. I hope they won't use this costume for future songs.

I think they only played one song. There were other artists performing on Elama that day. I read somewhere that it's some kind of charity event. (?)

Yes, the idea of the whole thing is to raise money for sick children (Elämä Lapselle = Life for a Children). All artists perform for free, and all profit goes to the kids.

Here's some pictures of Samu, a kid who was very close to death, but is now in much better health thanks to the Kummit organization (who also arrange the concert every year).

http://www.kummit.com/index.php?id=177

The text says "..many artists were moved by Samu's story, and said hello to the little guy. One of the first was Poets of the Fall's Marko, after which Samu has named his gerbil."

This band is so great, you can't do anything but love them, even if you wouldn't like the music (and that'd be strange...) :P

As I recall it they played at a similar event 2 years ago (?)

You're correct. They played at the 2005-event, on September 14th, which is my mother's birthday, btw. :D

You only have to get the VLC Player, that's all you need for lifelong video entertainment. It plays everything! :)

You're amazing, thank you for posting that vid! Poets were awesome at the stage, it's great they have performed at this event! Marko's costume was a great idea as well... he looks a bit too evil, though :D

We all do, but i also think that was really different and fun appearance. Marko usually doesn't wear make up or that kind of clothes, but they made a nice difference. :)

You guys do realize that Marko's appearance was directly from the Carnival of Rust video?
