Does anyone know how to get an avatar picture? I cant find one that will fit right. please help.

Just remember that the maximum size for avatars is 80x80 pixels. You can easily find freeware programs from the net that allow you to resize and/or crop any picture to this size. Or if you are nice, I might even code a PHP script that resizes pictures automatically here on the website. (Actually, there might already be such a service somewhere.. just use the good ol' Google!)

oh, and don't say a q-tip.

I make all my own avatars and host them off a personal web server. The one I'm currently using was created via pencil/paper, scanned, and edited with Photoshop. Using my own webspace also ensures that the avatar will ALWAYS work. Certain webservers DO NOT ALLOW remote linking, meaning that if you use an image from certain sites they will shut down your link. Tripod and Angelfire sites are notorious for this, and all pictures that you attempt to link to instead have a picture stating "ANGELFIRE DOES NOT ALLOW REMOTE LINKING" and other such garbage.

Just some hints/tips

That should get you some of my more recent works. And when I say recent, I mean recently scanned works. Some of that stuff could be a few years old. Also, only click on the .jpg's, the others are photoshop format and will not open unless you have Adobe Photoshop.

finding one is not the problem........ ............how the hell do you put them in your account? Would anybody please be so kind and explain me that..if possible in a PM..............i can save that and start messin' around, haha

When you find picture just right click on it and select copy shortcut.
After that go to Profile at the bottom and paste the shortcut there(Ctrl+V for Paste).
