Very good, send them out, Tiia :).

And after you did this make sure we quickly got more big posters and other stuff to prevent us from running short on it.

Come on prowlers, let's get it on again. 8)

No problem with more prowling in Leipzig and/or Chemnitz here (already got an idea or two).
I'd prefer someone tagging along, but if nobody can join me here, I wn't mind doing do it alone. ^^

POSTERS - Juhu!!!

Quote:
already have the addresses you sent to me, but the list is long and I want to make sure people are still ready to do this Smile

Also, I think it would be wise to spread these in the bigger cities only, and form up teams for each city, so we'd send the posters to one of the team members in each city, and you could go out prawling together.. does this make any sense to you? Smile

Let's see if we can come up with an efficient way to do this ok?

Actually, we could put up a list like the one we already had. We could do it here and in the Prowler's forum to get all the people. Everybody interested in covering Germany with the Poets can tell us by posting here or in the other forum and then we can look where to spread them and whom to send the posters. 8)

Lori - Frankfurt and mybe Stuttgart :)

Hey... we sent 8 packages of posters to Germany yesterday. That means not all of you is going to get them, but we hope you can still go and spread them together. Putting them up isn't gonna be that easy if you're alone, anyway :)

And, when you receive them in the mail, I recommend you don't go and pick them up without a car or a ride..

We sent the posters to the following people:
- Sascha (x2 rolls)
- Raspu (x2)
- Jutta H.
- Ellen
- Jana
- Birgit
- Sarek
- Julian

I'm sorry, I can't remember all of your nicknames so.. maybe you'll recognize yourselves from this :) if you see this, reply with "ok" or something so I know you'll be expecting the package!

A workmate of mine agreed to promote the Poets in his hometown "Zwickau" which is in the eastern part of germany.
I will give him some of my flyers and maybe posters and he will make pics of his prowling tour, as soon as i get the pics i will oc share them with you! :D

I also got another workmate of mine to listen to the two PotF CDs.
She first feared that it would be some metal or gothic music, probably cause i once brought something like that to work!
But then she listened to the CDs after all and afterwards she said that they are awesome and really really good, and that she most probably will buy the CD! :D

Keep on prowling people! 8)

Great :)

Ask her if she's willing to join the sreet-team.

Btw at first I also feared that Potf would be some kind of Gothic band. :D

Unfortunately it's always like this, if they hear Finland + Music = Gothic (HIM, 69 Eyes, Rasmus etc) OK they are not all Gothic but you get the idea.
One point about the flyer, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to take the one photo of Marko from CoR video as a teaser, because some people thought again "Yack some gothic shit" although it really isn't...But we had some trouble on the the street explain it to all the people...

But good that it's not on the poster, so people won't run away... :D

Yeah, I was very shocked when I saw the COR-video for the first time since I loved POTF, but I don't like Goths (hate is a strong word, isn't it ?).

edit

I downloaded COR at first (calm down, I bought my copy on April 20th :P ) and when I checked the song titles I was like "Uhh no, another Gothic-band, 'Locking up The Sun' unnngh." :D

I'm using the POTF-Myspace-pic as a signature on every forum I have registered and am currently writing posts only to make people see the banner. :D

I added a sentence under the banner:"please don't let the poets fall on deaf ears." :D
