Yesterday I was looking for a freeware tool which was able to convert MP3 to midi because I wanted to see the notes of the songs, but I dodn't find a tool that was freeware.

@ Patek

I'd like to have all potf songs as midi-files so make as many files as you can, please. :)

There were a topic with some MIDI files of PotF songs, like CoR and Delicious. but I don't really remember it's title or anything else.

OK, I've done these:

All the way
Carnival of rust
Delicious
Don't mess with me
Everything fades
Gravity
Illusion & Dream
Late goodbye
Lift
Locking up the sun
Maybe tomorrow is a better day
Overboard
Seek you out
Shallow
Stay
The beautiful ones

Please, if someone have midis for other songs, send it to me, PLEASE!?!?

No piece of software is able to do that if the song has anything more than a couple of very simple instruments (like most POTF songs). Of course there are tools that claim they can do that, but the MIDI data they produce has nothing to do with the original song. (If someone can prove me wrong, please point me to that software. :) )

Now that we're talking about midi! I connected my synthesizer to my pc via USB! Now, I had a lot of latency almost 1 second! Will it be better to connect it to firewire? Or what about directly connecting my synthesizer to an internal soundcard that has midi connections?

Admin, maybe you can help me with this since, you're MR. Sound and all... :P

Simply put, I'd like to get some midi files to convert them to a file format that is usuable in MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. One of the fantastic things you can do in that game is use ABC files to actually reproduce music that others in the game can here. I was thinking that since I am on the US servers and see and hear so many others from so many different places, this would be another avenue of getting the word out to the masses about PotF. Admin, Poets, what do you think?

here you go:

Most of Guitar pro files were made by DarkArt
http://files.filefront.com/Poets+of+the ... einfo.html

some of the midis are actually crap. If you have ANY OTHER MIDI, PLEASE SEND IT TO ME, AS I DID TO YOU!!! (Or if you have any Guitar pro tabs - except this ones - I converted Guitar pro tabs into midis)

Thanks, I'm going to see if it works. BTW, these files actually sound pretty good!
