That is true about the titles and how SoL has a softer feel to it, and if they would tour in the US, specifically if they made a stop in Chicago I would go and get more people to go with me.

Oh okay, let's bet if the third album contain "of" in a 3-word title :D

Dannii, it's awesome that you're both together because of PotF. They're magicians, indeed

SoL was more interesting to listen to than CoR. There is more pure magic on SoL than on CoR, especially in the transitions from the second chorus to the C-parts of any song (as in first verse A - chorus B - second verse A - chorus B - solo/transition C-part - chorus B).

For God's sake...

Hey, it's all good, even if you just quoted a select part from my post :)

But just stating "For God's sake" isn't actually very helpful and polite. Feels more like censorship is lurking around the corner, but that's probably not the case.

I don't think my comment was overtly negative, I was simply stating my opinion which doesn't have to embraced by anyone else. I just feel there were was more magic on SoL, interesting details and chord changes which always managed to surprise you and give you goosebumps on every listen. For me, that was rare in the case of CoR.

What I also was trying to say is that it's really been bugging me for a long time that I haven't been able to enjoy CoR as an album from start to finish as much as I loved SoL. I would've wanted to love CoR just as much, but honestly I couldn't.

I buy a lot of records from many different genres all the time which are fighting for my attention -- as Ollie, jef83 and some other board members know very well -- still SoL was hands down the album which got most spins from me during 2005. I bought several copies of SoL which I shipped abroad just to spread the word. Gave some copies of SoL as birthday presents in Finland as well.

Sorry if any offence was taken by anyone. That was not my intention.

During the same session I wrote my original message (which was quoted by POTF_Admin) I noticed that tickets for the upcoming gig at Tavastia were just being listed at the club site and I shared that piece of information instantly in the Finnish gig thread (Keikoista (FIN)).

What else? I'm all ears for any new stuff POTF come up with. Maybe tomorrow is a better day?

I think if you start loving a band. Then the first album you got will always be the best

And the first album of a band got always more produce-time. Coz it’s got the best songs since they formed

I don't agree, it might be that for some the first album that they have heard of a band is the bestest in their opinion, but that must not neccersary be the First album of the band.

And for me not even that is a rule, i can like any album in a line of 10 Albums from a band better then their first ever or teh first i hear, and then again it might be that i love the first more, has nothing to do though with first or last or whatever, just with music. :D

Oh, they could release the second album in next 3 or 4 years as other bands.. but I'm happy PotF decided to release CoR so quickly after SoL. Plus there's a big possibility that the third album will be pretty different from two previous albums

I only wonder if they are going to release it this year? They're still on gigs :?

If POTF are having gigs in February, is that means that they'll start recording in March? If they do, it means that they'll probably miss the whole summer season...

Maybe they just do both. At least there are gigs in April and I remember Marko saying in some interview that they might play some new songs in festival gigs in the summer, so I guess there will be gigs in the summer as well. :)

Can I just ask you a simple question, Special? How old are you?I know it´s fun when you can write things you wan´t behind your computer and no-one knows who you are, and you think it´s so so funny to post meaningsless posts that no-one else cares about. I personally would guess you´re older than average fans here. Your posts are childish, and are at the level of little child. But a child wouldn´t write in this way, that´s the only problem. So congratulations, I personally think it´s really great that a grown up, that sits at home behind her computer, writes things like these and irritates most fans around here. A grown up would figure out when it´s time to stop though, but that´s not the case with you, is it..I´m sorry if this was too offending for you, but I´m sure you´ll get over it.

Ha. Yeah I know that last one was stupid. But um, I'm 18 and I get confused all the time and so on (listen to the song I'm Eighteen by dunno-who) so you probably can forgive my little fingers?

The people on the front page seem to have very small fingers, too, you know.

I think it would be cool if they'd make a rap song in which they critisize this IMO idiotic "ganxta" and "motherf..." attitude of rap stars. :D

I know rap isn't POTF's style, but hey something like that would be really awesome since nobody would expect something like that. :P

i love them for having really strong and poetical lyrics

and hey they made some kind of this song you want
"it's a merry go around, and around and around..."

So do I, the lyrics are the greatest thing in their music and I don't want them to use swear words. They should stay true to their poetic and intelligent choice of words.

I know the idea of POTF making a rap song is very strange. I had the idea a few mintues ago when I was watching Sido's song Strassenjunge on Youtube. The beat is absolutely amazing, but the lyrics... ultimate crap. And adults are wondering why the kids of today lack respect....

You're right, the subject was tackled by SGR, but I still think something like this would be a cool idea since nobody would expect it and it would again demonstrate the guys' ability to play very different kinds of music.

When I come to think of it, i'd also like them to tackle different musical genres, like rap (with intelliogent lyrics  ) or maybe a Jazz song (Ollie is a Jazz-guitarrist, right ? ) just so the album gets even more varied than SOL and COR have been.

Rappers do noting, but rap, heavy Metal bands only play Heavy Metal and those who make boring "makes-you-sleep-immediately" RnB / Pop don't do anything else.

But Potf are different, thy can mix styles and genres and are equally great in every one since they simply know how to make good music.

yeaah that's right
there are so many kind of songs they can make (f.e. the cure-like...)
and i'm sure it would sound awesome.
let's wait and take by suprise... :)
