THAT would be a great experience I guess.. for Marko AND us listeners. :)

Okay, but I wanna listen to more rocksongs. I'm in love with "Locking up the Sun" and "Don't mess with me", but "Seek you Out" is also one of my favorites, It's really hart to decide and I think the Poets discuss a lot about this, 'cause they can't take all the songs they've in their mind on one disc... :(

Oh, I would be so happy to see a double-disc like "Stadium Arcadium" Okay, we don't have really much to complain about, especially that PotF is releasing albums at pretty fast pace.. let's hope the new album comes out this year

Similar like SoL, but darker, more acoustic songs, more athmosphere of fall. :) CoR was a little bit smell of spring.

Well, thats a matter of personal taste and preferences. But in my "virtual ears" I can hear some great duet of Marko and a female singer.. kinda like "Bring me to life" from Evanescence.. I'm speaking of just the kind of duet, not the kind of music. Can be kinda rocky too, dont have to be any love duet.

I don't want a duet :( I just want Marko's voice, Olli's guitar and Captain's keyboard :D Don't want any woman to be involved with it :P I trust PotF! They will make something awesome from it!

Yeah, some do, some don't. Some even swallow...

Sowwy, I just can't help myself sometimes...I try to grow up one day :P

But talking about serious stuff once in a while, I don't have any wishes or demands concerning Poets next album.

I'm just purely curious to find out what they come up with. Their talents have been growing along the way and they have found their musical strengths and it seems like they know it themselves too.

Seeing their gigs and hearing them play is so joyful because they seem to feel good about themselves and that way they also make their audience feel comfortable. That's one of the things why I adore them and I can't get enough of their music.

When you do something with love and pour your heart and soul into it, it can't go wrong.

Well said. I agree 100%. The one thing that sets them apart is exactly what Angelia said-joy. Their music is so positive, I can't help but feel good when I listen to it, even if I've listened to both albums a hundred times. I can't wait for the next album. I think we will all be pleasantly surprised.

first of all, I expect to buy the 3rd album in the record shop 'round the corner of my house... And I'd like more guitar solos, like in SoL...

Agreed! The only thing I missed a little on CoR... There could have been an extra solo, but otherwise it was great. I wish they will keep the same style as on SoL and CoR: Great lyrical and musical brilliance and a certain 'unpredictance' - surprising turns...

The same! I'm wondering what they will come up with, PotF has proved they got some cool ideas with symbols, just like the lolli and the orange from LUtS.

Oh, absolutely! I hope they will decide to do that now..

Anyway, I just can't wait to hear music they're making right now... There's one thing for sure: it will be brilliant

Well said, indeed. Totally agreed! Whatever they are doing right now I will like it. POTF is making their own music anyway. Can't wait...

I think the guys will pull through and make a more interesting record next time around. I'm sure they're able to do that.

The freshness and sense of surprise which was evident on SoL was almost completely lost on CoR, even if it is as such better produced.

SoL was more interesting to listen to than CoR. There is more pure magic on SoL than on CoR, especially in the transitions from the second chorus to the C-parts of any song (as in first verse A - chorus B - second verse A - chorus B - solo/transition C-part - chorus B).

Holy Christ on a stick! Don't take God's name in vain.

Anyway, I'd like:

13 tracks instead of 12.
Extended kick ass solo pieces.
More piano involvement with some cool riffs.
Duet with another singer, preferably female. (and she must be good, real good.)

I'm glad you put my feelings into words so I don't even have to try... :)

All I can add is that after SoL, I didn't expect anything could top it. Then CoR came and blew me away even more and I was astounded: they did it again and even better! Every time I hear something new from these guys it amazes me that it seems they can do no wrong

So yeah, I really wouldn't presume to tell them how to do the next album, I'll just wait for it impatiently and love every second of it when I finally hear it.

Or 14. Or 15. Or 20. You know, whatever

I don't think the album would need a duet... Then it should be a duet with Ollie or Captain :D
