I just resubmitted Locking Up The Sun to UG, after discovering some serious flaws with the first i tabbed when i listened to the song today with a fresh pair of ears. I now guarantee it to be at least 90% percent correct  . Good job by the way on the 'All the Way' tab Fabba!

I wouldn't have DARED to try tabbing that XD I didn't think it was possible - *wow* O.o

:-D Well - since my guitar isn't around I'll take a closer look at it later... looks good from here, but I'll have to listen to the song again. However often I listen to their music :-P Every time I listen to it again, I realise there's another tiny bit I've missed or haven't noticed.

I decided to tab out "Stay" by myself. It's one of my favorite songs by POTF and I really wanted to learn to play it. I didn't tab out the solo but I will try to do that soon. The solo doesn't seem that difficult. If anyone has any corrections, let me know. The link for the tab is below:

I just updated my tab of "Stay". Changed Cadd9 to C, added the chord Bbmaj7...it will soon be updated on http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/p/p ... ay_crd.htm

You can also view the tab and any updates on my website here:

Da kann man aber auch gar nichts drauf sehn... aber das solo ist wieder mal saftig. Respekt, Olli!

And WOW, Oasis - it looks *perfect*. I can't wait to get my hands on my guitar tomorrow morning...

Well, I've been practicing on that song for a while now, generally I play the guitar for 3 months.
I find difficulties in the transition between the first verse leak and the second one, there's this part that you need to pick 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd strings on the 5th fret... and right before that you need to pick the 5th string 7th fret... but I can't do it fast enough... any idea on the fingering, tips or anything?

somehow i dont like gp
maybe it's just because there are so many "guitar gods" who make songs just with guitarpro instead of creating them on the guitar... and if you want them to play it for you live - they just cant do it

wargh i hate these suckers... guitarmusic develop on the instrument not ON THE COMPUTER  :!:

And I have guitar pro :) But I agree...don´t like it that much.

Yes, I have some things, I also play bass. I have these:

for Guitar Pro (complete tabletures):
Stay
Lift (I doubt about solo, I think it's not 100% correct)
Don't mess with me
Illusion & Dream
Carnival of rust

And txt tab:
Everything fades

if you want something, send me email

I use something slightly similar to the rhythm in the chorus of "Seek you out" :D it fits real nicely. Only because it's on the accoustic I add a strum here and there from time to time, it doesn't have to be so tight

Hi!

I have a question about how you usually play a fingerpicking song like for example All the way. For example, the first part of the song could either be played by fretting each note at a time with your left hand (and pick the notes with your right hand), or forming a chord (still pick the notes with your right hand, I´m only interested in what the left hand is doing). The left hand could for example form a dsus2 chord. Which way is the easiest/best?

Thanks!

i'll form the chord with the left one.... i think that sounds better
coz no-one is so quick to let the notes sound that great with "fretting each note"

ehm ^^

Eeeeey sorry I haven't checked this thread for years! Sure, no probs... which part, the background chord or the lead bit that comes in at 1.34?
