They're an awsome band, and i love them, but they're not top on my list, they're number two. Don't get me wrong though they are a great band.

POTF definitely ain't my favourite band of all time, nor is even near being that.
But POTF are a very promising new band with some fantastic music. If they keep going like this then maybe they'll be one of my all time faves someday. But there's too little material right now to judge them yet.

For me, i think they kinda' are... Second atm tho.. After Green Day. Not only because of the songs (They are amazing too ofcourse)... But it's really cool that they communicate with the fans so much....

But i think after the album they are my favourites :]

I had to vote "no" for several reasons. I really love the work PotF has done so far, but I can't really make a judgement based on the two songs I have heard and a few clips of others. Plus, I can't really say I have a "favorite" band of all time. Every group has their strong and weak points.

My vote was yes. The music industry is beyond stale and honestly- POTF was a fresh of breath air ( for me. )

The song I bought speaks to me, I relate, the textures of the late godbye and how it all blends, the message- yes, my fave and waiting to explore new emotions from their music.

Agreed, POTF is definitely a breath of fresh air in the staleness of current music.

I think they could be big in the ol' USA. Alot of people I've introduced them to love their sound.

Yup, the only problem would be all those annoying wanna-be-nirvana bands that try to sound good but end up being crappy "punk" music. Freaking posers...

Well after two songs of theirs I have to say "Yes"

I fell in love with "Late Goodbye" the first time the credits of Max Payne 2 rolled last December.

I don't wanna start a fight or something, but aren't some of you guys overreacting a bit? Favorite band? After you heard 2 complete songs? Most bands have 2 decent songs . . .
I'm not saying they are bad, they have great potential, but don't you think it's a bit early to make such statements?

I have tons of good bands, and I won't even think about calling potf favorite band befor I haven't at least heard one album.

I can tell you it will rock your mind! But of course that´s up for you to decide. All I know is I´ve never heard an album that has only great songs on it.Before Poets came that is!Every album has more than often songs you don´t like.

really, this deserves an undecided button, because I hear so much music on a daily basis that it makes my head spin. I think that the Poets are in the right genre, but until I can hear more, I still remain undecided on who is my favorite. FTR (for the record) I have both cds, and I'm not yet convinced that the band is my absolute favorite.

The more I listen to the Poets, the more I like them, but I still stand in the neutral zone. I'll decide after the album comes out.
