There's a PotF hyve? I needs to check that out. :P

I promoted PotF to a local festival here which runs in september, they've replied that they're interested. Other than that haven't heard a thing since february. Waiting sucks. :D

*groot Poets fan meldt zich*

Hello peeps!

Thanks to the facebook group grumzz made I'm back at this forum, with a new account now, because I don't remember my old one.

Anyway, flyers would be great to have. Maybe we can steal some ideas (or flyers) from other streetteams, if they don't mind :P
I'm going to try to keep following and helping this, lets see if we can get something going!

*bookmarks*

PS: Waarom zijn de hoodies zo duur :(

Ooooh, just heard the shard of "War".... I'm still drooling, my god, epic! I'm so gonna buy the album.

So, back to business! Might be nice if we'd swap msn-accounts, would make communication easier :)

Setting up the myspace page now.. but should we have like, our own email? apparently myspace won't let me use my email addresses (probably have used them on there before..)

also, do we want a normal page or a musician page??

aaaah, en Goo fan!! Bij deze, ik ben de grootste (okee, een van de grootste) Goo Goo Dolls fan in Nederland! :D

Anyway, I really like this idea of a PotF streetteam! I've recently set up a Goo Goo Dolls streetteam with two other people, so I'm busy with things like these too. Let me know what I can do to help! My parents live in Leiden and I recently (3 months ago or so) moved to Amsterdam, so I'm in both cities.

Oh wilde al zeggen, ik ben de grootste Goo Goo Dolls fan. :P Maar serieus, wel heel erg fan eigenlijk. :D

I've added all of you, so if my e-mail pcb456@hotmail.com should appear then you know it's me. :)

Now to find that facebook page, I'm soooo capable of interacting with facebook (not).

I've already sent KinkFM an email, but I didn't get a response and it seems they haven't played DWA yet :(

But I've thought about 3voor12 radio too. They have something called Plugplaat and it works like this: you request a song, and they play it. If the listeners like it, they text yes, and the song will be played again the next day! I don't know exactly how it works, I guess you should just mail them with "Plugplaat" as subject, but it would be a great way to promote DWA :)

What about the MySpace, is it already set up? If not, then I'd be up to do it as well I think, I've done a myspace like that for another band earlier. :) That was a normal page btw, no artist's page. That was no problem at all, and I just saw that the other streetteams have got normal pages as well. So I think a normal page would be best.
But tell me!

At Vistaprint.nl we can get 250 free visitor cards per person. We could do that and hand them out to people in our own town?? Anyone up for it? :)

Well, anyone found out the reality of the free cards?
Because "free" things also give me the creeps...

Next that: I got the feeling this thing is quite dying on us... we need to do this and we can!

Hey, I'm new on the boards (though I've been listening to PotF for about 2 years and a half now). I'm not Dutch. but I've moved to the Netherlands quite recently and I'd really really love to have a chance to see the band live in concert. But to do that, there are more fans needed. I see the posting has stopped in the past months, I don't know if the street team is still working or if the idea has been abandoned, but I would dearly contribute with..well mostly anything I can. if you need designs for some flyers I have a very good friend that would surely be able to design something awesome for us (assuming there is a team left :? ). I live in spijkenisse, pretty close to rotterdam, so i can find stuff to do in that area. So am I in? :D

Well, as you can see from the ages it took me to respond :p The Team has never really fully come to exist :( I still talk to Grumzz occasionally via MSN messenger, but nope, nothing has happened :( I can say that I haven't got much time for a Team, but a Team would always be awesome!!

Nice to see someone still alive here! was afraid the zombies took you all :-s

Time is the one thing I really don't lack right now, and I honestly love this band with all my heart so I'd love to help in any way I can to get this street team up and running.

Sorry for the late response. Well, a team is always nice, but since you were the only one who posted since my last post, I doubt if there is enough spirit to get this going. I have one good friend who would like to help if it is really going to be there, but with a country as big as ours and the fact that Poets never really landed here, I'm doubting it would have any use. It's not that I want to ruin the point of this thread, but I'm very skeptic on the subject. When we can get 5 active persons, including the two of us, I'm seriously going to help realize the plan.
