The RR-Tour will take them back to India, you just have to cross your fingers and hope they'll come to a place not that far away from you (even though India is a very big country of course :D ).

The name's Cherry and I'm currently working with Vh1 India. Trying my best to promote POTF around here. Not sure how to go about it, but we've been airing their first two videos (Lift and Carnival of Rust) for the past few months now. Shocking to learn we've been deprived of their music all this while, but hey.. better late than never.. right?! :)

I do give potf songs to my friends and they do like it too....
Unfortunately nobody wants to buy albums....
The main reason is that you dont get PoTF Cds n all that kinda stuff here in local shops.....
But I wanna be a part of the Indian Street team and assist PoTF in every way possible....
I do have a confession to make, I too do not have any original PoTF Cd's.
Songs were downloaded from the internet....
I'm sorry guys, I do feel guilty and i will purchase the cds from the webshop as soon as i get some cash....
Thanks!
...Kiran...

What if we, as die hard fans of POTF, try and get people to sponsor the band in India. I mean, there's UB Group, Sangeetha AND SIMILAR COMPANIES. aND, dna MAY help us out as well.. So, if anyone is in for it, just buzz me, and we could start off immediately

I'll give you my top ten songs from Poets of the Fall
The taste may vary from person to person, But mostly I'd like to hear slow and sentimental songs.
1. Given and denied - Twilight theatre
2. Fragile - Revolution roulette
3. Smoke and mirrors - Twilight theatre
4. Dawn - Carnival of rust
5. May be tomorrow is a better day - Carnival of rust
6. Late goodbye - signs of life
7. Revolution roulette - Revolution roulette
8. Diamonds for tears - Revolution roulette
9. Dying to live - Twilight theatre
10. Rewind - Twilight theatre

Just give it a shot man.

Yeah, It's really a sad thing that the current youth generation get too much obsessed with rap, hip hop and pop genres and totally ignore the rock. But they should try to adopt listening to rock, the music is good, lyrics are awesome and it has all the ingredients and you can't ask more than that and you won't. I don't know what's so special about artists like lady gaga and justin beiber. I feel like killing myself after hearing a couple of their songs. I been watching vh1 for a very long time. thanks for the "Rock Rules" and "Rockathon Weekends" I'd love to see The Poets in vh1 in "Story Tellers" and "World Stage". Is there anything you can do about it? I'm really happy I saw an full one hour programme on Bon Jovi. As far as it comes to promoting the POTF, I've given and insisted almost all of my friends to hear their songs but only a few turned up and responded cos' most of their songs are melodies and their lyrics seems too abstract and difficult for the indians to understand. I've uploaded a lot of POTF videos in my FB to promote them and that's the least I could do.

We're in for a race that never ends,
Where is it we think we go,
What is it we think we know,
It'll never change until we change ourselves. :(

I'm a great fan of POTF....nobody makes music like they do....melodious, mystic, metaphorical....everything so elegantly put together as if it was suppossed to be that way in the first place!

Somehow, I'm still unable to find bands similar to POTF....maybe because their can't be one..!!

Anyways, here's another Indian fan comitted to encourage Poets Of The Fall in the country !

Can I get official POTF CDs here in India...??? I couldn't find it anywhere in Delhi or Kolkata... :|

Hello people! This thread is abandoned for some reason.

We need to get POTF popular in India.
We need them to get on the radio and television.

We should all together recommend POTF to them.

I did this yesterday, now is your turn!
Come on!!
